This is a trait of bad coaching

Hell, I forgot Lazor was on the staff..if there's any chance to salvage the season, it's firing Slowik now and letting someone like Lazor take over.

So we have a coach on staff with OC experience...
    • Are we not tapping into his experience???
    • If so is he not giving good input???
    • Is Bobby not accepting it???
Something is not smelling right in the kitchen....

The breakdown on this was nice...

He's right the detail and communication is bad... very bad.. From the entire offense..

    Thanks @zeeshan2

    bingo

DeMeco should have done this at the start if he was going to be hands off running the offense, rather than handing the keys to a neophyte

I knew it was bad but DAM, that really puts it into perspective, I guess that happens when you run on first down into a wall of huge interior lineman like Sunday and you basically wasted a down. I bet this would be worse if it wasn't for Joe M saving our O Line on most weeks

If he's not already helping to fix things, how will he fix it if Slowik is fired? Does he know everything that needs to happen and just isn't telling anyone or what? Makes no sense.

Give Mills a run, CJ needs to watch, gain perspective. What do you think?

His best offenses were worse than our current offense. This is not the answer.

    1st Half: Slowik as OC
2nd Half: Jerrod Johnson as OC

Teams can't adjust to Slowik at halftime if he's not the 2nd half OC.

Demeco has an understandably strong loyalty to Bobby after working with him for 5+ years and then lobbying to get him here from SF.

But, this is the NFL, you either produce or you're set loose.

Demeco is gonna have to put on his big boy pants and put down Ol' Yeller soon.

The local guys like Lance and Dj eat all have said Bobby gets one more year. I agree. Who you gonna replace him with? There’s a reason OC vets like Josh McDaniels, Byron Leftwhicb and Eric Bieniemy aren’t in the NFL. It’s cause they’re not good enough. You wanna replace him with a young guy? I mean that’s kind of the problem with Bobby to begin with. Inexperience. After week 2 ppl on here were violently masturbating over Baby Kubiack and ‘Cliff’ Klingsbury. It’s Week 12, the saints are trash and you see why they call him ‘Cliff’. FYI, it’s because teams figure him out and his offense falls off a cliff after week 8. Just ask AZ fans. And before anyone brings up the Bills dumping Ken Dorsey for Joe Brady mid season, Joe Brady was the architect of the greatest college offense in history, 2019 LSU, and had 3 years OC experience at CAR plus 2 year with the Bills as a OC assistant. We ain’t got anyone like that and Ben Johnson ain’t leaving the Lions unless it’s a HC job.

I think the Texans replace the OL coach for sure. My dream OL hire being Mike Munchak. And maybe bring in a Vet coaching presence in an advisory role like Salah with the Packers. Someone like Gary Kubiack or even Daddy Shanahan. But if we are gonna hire someone new maybe go after Mike LaFleur? He’s the Rams OC and was with the Jets under Salah but maybe he wants to apply his skills on another team not coached by offensive wizard McVaey.
