It’s media exposure, it’s playoff atmosphere, and competitive experience for our players. Not to mention we could be fighting for a trophy.

Last year it brought the pacers a lot of cred and confidence. Let’s go!

The banner can be hung in the restroom, but I do agree that the confidence and belief they can win with something on the line is significant. They are becoming a team.

The Cup schedule is so unorganized that they scatter in regular games ......

Good thing was that the Rockets won all their Cup games that would not matter ......the confusion emerges with other teams.

The fact that quarter finals and semifinals count as regular season games, and that the teams there are playing against the best Cup teams, makes our regular season schedule harder than an average team’s. Not sure if anyone thought about this

What a strange thing to be worried about. Would you have rather lost these games to preserve our precious strength of schedule?

I noticed this last year and thought it would help get us to .500 but our extra games were tough.

We host one game. If we win out 4-0, it's looking like we are gonna play mavs.
Suns and warriors will Duke it out

Semi and finals will be hosted at neutral court in Vegas I believe

Yeah but we also would have won games to get to the NBA cup as opposed to losing them so

...aren't we in the weakest group by far? We did what needed to be done, but the real test is how we play against better teams in a playoff like atmosphere.

Idk that last game seemed playoff like to me. Are the wolves good? I would say so. There are a couple teams better. I don’t think their record reflects their skill.

I mean we are hitting the Clippers after they lost Paul George and Kawhi still hasn't played this year - that's a team in transition. Same with the TWolves still trying to figure out what the post KAT world looks like for them and how to integrate Dante and Randle. It seems that as good as Divencnzo was in NY, he has not had a good start to his Minnesota career. In short they look worse than they did last year so far(but again are still figuring it out)...and otherwise you got the Kings(trying to integrate DeRozan and so far having a rough start) and Portland(a lotto team). Early in the season, having roster continuity seems to be paying dividends.

Rockets have taken out the Vancouver Grizzlies, NY, Dallas, Clippers, Indy(not our fault Haliburton ammunition is defective), went wire to wire in OT vs the Warriors and the Wolves(nobody forced them to acquire Randle). And fans are still questioning if the Rockets are good at basketball.
    We're good. Damn, good.
50 win team if they remain healthy.
