He’s not getting fired mid season. I don’t think the steelers or Washington are firing people because they lost to even worse division opponents

Can put some of that on the athletes, but I assume you mean to underline how bad the Texans' scheming is.

We were 100% outcoached, they took an AVG QB is Levis and elevated him, the play calling caught us off guard and Slowik did not change one dam thing................I see that look in CJ`s eye where he doesn't trust this O Line, they are pathetic against above average interior lineman. I think you have to go into the off season and trying to unload Tunsil, I am so sick of his penalties and lazy ass play, Scruggs has digressed and no one on the O Line is held accountable..........NO ONE. We need a change, I get it you won't do it mid-season, but do something, bench someone, do SOMETHING

    Options -
    1. If they value him and see him around for the long term then bring in someone who can mentor him..
    2. Let someone else assist with calling the plays
    3. Let him Go..

How much longer is this loser going to accept his offense getting completely shut down in the 2nd half of games? I don't care if he works hard, stays late etc. He sucks ass period. His schemes suck, his players are undisciplined, and also can't execute. At some point it becomes the coaches fault for the players not being able to execute. It doesn't sound like he knows how to coach at all.

Why not midseason? The franchise QB is going to be permanently damaged, either physically or mentally, or both, if something isn't done to change the direction of this inept offense asap. There is no good solution, just the better of two bad ones. If Ryans doesn't take action, then Stroud will continue to regress and lose confidence in his team and himself. Ryans must do whatever it takes to protect the kid who is going to make or break this team for the foreseeable future. Everything else is secondary to that. The OC is obviously a big part of the problem, along with the OL Coach. They have to go. Now.

this is on DeMeco. Clearly his plan was to leave the offense to it's own devices, and if that's the case, he should never have hired a rookie OC.

Look at McVeigh, he hired proven vet Wade Phillips to run the D for his first season.

    It's not the system...

I can teach someone Krav Maga, but if they don't know what to use when... its on them and not the system.

"Looking at the all 22 on some of these red zone plays, they're in cover 2 and it's still a loaded box because Bobby has everyone bunched in together. Mixon has no place to go." Ross Tucker and Payne segment.

Pretty much been the same story all year

“Giving up a sack to T’Vondre Sweat. The guy hasn’t had a sack since Jesus was a baby. He’s 380 lbs. How do you give up a sack to a 400lb guy? It is broken offensively.”

    LOL

Send this to Slowik and tell him to pack his bags.

We are not winning anything this year as long as he's around.

Nobody thinks there would be a change during the season, but I see no logical scenario where Slowik keeps his job after the bye week if the offense looks like crap again against the Jags.

I had no idea Bill Lazor was on the staff. That is a guy with OC experience, I see no reason why we couldn't fire Slowik and turn play calling over to him, it is scientifically impossible for it to be any worse than it is right now anyway.

This is turning into an Easterby-lite situation, where the entire league is aware and has identified the problem with this person to the point where it is embarrassing to the franchise.

Offseason you clean house on the offensive coaching side of the ball. If 'Meco is going to fully delegate the offense to the OC, then I want somebody with head coaching experience. Frank Reich or Doug Pederson if he is available. I give zero effs about a Shanahan offense, I don't care what you ran in SF...it doesn't matter what style of offense you run, just make it an effective one.
