Too bad they cut it at 5 secs. The announcers confusion at the 'pulling' Mason to block on that play was relatable.

Look at CJ's facial expression and eyes as Slowik is talking. Those eyes looking far away...

Slowik believes in the system more than his players. He believes his system so much that he will not alter it to fit the strengths, or hide the weaknesses, of his players. In his view, the system is proven and it's the players who need to adjust to play well within it. And I totally get that and don't necessarily disagree. But as such, Slowik doesn't feel the need to change anything to put his players in the best position to succeed. And that's the problem. That's how you get "doing the same **** over and over even though it never works" and "let's put our weakness against their strength and see how that works out."

When has Slowik called a play that has caught the defense by surprise? It's the opposite, every single play the defense sniffs out immediately. How many of those screens don't work, or get killed for negative yards. Slowik kills the drive instantaneously by making it 2nd and 15, 3rd and 11 etc. We have no chance.

I’m not out here to defend him, but the very first play of the game?

even Jay Feely the placekicker announcer said "why do the Texans keep running it up the middle at the only good players on the Titans"?

Exactly. I don’t recall exactly the portion of the game but we had just gotten a nice passing first down. Next play? Run up the middle into the brick wall for Mixon.

Why not try ANYTHING else. Play action? Flea flicker? Delayed hand off? Fake pitch into a bootleg?

No let’s just hand it off on 1st down straight up the middle.

This guy needs to go. How is it that we can't just run simple slants or out routes? Need to move away from the Shannon system.

Can we reinstall the Kubiak system? Sloth Schaub would rollout with no one around him and launch bombs to Owen Daniels and AJ. Is it just the OL that prevents us from those plays??

It's not the system.... It's how it's being used..

There's a difference between being mentally weak and being shell shocked.....

So i wouldn't say that CJ is mentally weak... But once you take so many hits, you start to get anxious and that leads to happy feet and that leads to bad throws and also bad decisions...... (See the domino affect)...

Slowik continuously calls plays that start 4 or 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage and they always end up in negative yardage. A whole drive gets killed in one play. It's obvious to the world the O-Line is too porous for plays like that to be successful and he doesn't freakin change! Is it arrogance? Is it stupidity?

Slowik needs to be made an example of and fired. You can't lose to a sht division team and not have any consequences.
