Good. I'm not happy with how he's been playing lately and I'm damn sure he's not happy about it either. We've seen what he's capable of, hopefully with the revamped offensive line not consistently letting pressure through he'll return to form.
I want to believe it was an option route and that both Nico and CJ read it wrong. If it were a normal progression CJ is just waiting for the break, but he's throwing it here before the break. Seems as if it was a rhythm route that was just misread by one or both of the players.
It looks like Nico and C J read the Safety differently because he played on top rather than either inside or outside route. C J threw the outside route and Nico played the inside route. Focus on the Safety and C J just before the release., not the receiver.
It’s been ugly. Not completely his fault but if you’re a “franchise” QB you have to put the team on your back sometimes
This guy believed in his own hype too much last year. The offseason he was spending more time doing podcasts with Micah Parsons than working on his craft. The way he "big brother'd" Caleb Williams after week 2 was cringeworthy. You haven't accomplished anything CJ. Who are you to talk to another QB like that.
He has been a big disappointment this year. I do not want to see him getting hyped up over the break again...stop the fcking self fulfilling travels and focus on your damn game.
QB's sometimes do have down swings before heading back on a star trajectory, it is far from unheard of for a QB to look awful then look like a star again next season. Stroud's struggles are weird. I feared he might have some issues when opposing teams got a book on him, but he's simply missing throws right now even when he makes the right read. Maybe the line issues just have him out of whack.
Stroud has regressed this year. HE isn't making good plays. Looking to make home run plays but not playing well situationally. That last drive. Many mistakes. Including the first down throw that was almost picked off. The safety was a result of poor offensive schemes. Your goal is to stay in the pocket in that situation. The offense overall has been so inconsistent but Stroud needs to be better
