A small minority of extremely vocal posters don’t want to draft players that look like Clingan under any circumstance, regardless of what’s best for the team.

We really should have a 7-10 post limit daily. Pretty much nobody posting more often than that is adding value to a conversation.

Meh, Clingan is just some big, slow stiff with no offensive game.

Could care less what guys do this year.

What are they doing in 3 years.

Shepard just needs to build his confidence. That shot is beautiful.

No they just should have drafted Clingan to back up Sengun.

How would an injured player get a physical in the first place, he wouldn't.

The Rockets took on his rehabilitation.

The Rockets were in hope that Adams could play up to 15-20 minutes a game which he isn't capable of doing without resting.

Injured players get physicals all the time. Our doctor would want to look at his knee himself and make a call. You would never sign off and just a blind trade without doing an exam.

Hollinger, a Memphis expert, said the 3 picks were not a deal breaker for Houston, they do not view them as important.

Of course I am not buying both your take and the take that the Rockets did not know anything about an already injured player.

The Rockets gambled on Adams because Oladipo was injured as well......

They basically traded one injured player for another more injured player.....god knows why they had to attach those 2nd round picks.....

They had more use for a tough Center than for a guard like Oladipo. And it said to keep the Porter deal alive that they had.

They did that with Motiejunas which bit them in their arse.....because Motiejunas back issues were not severe.....and he could then play in the Chinese league and in another league....right afterwards.

    Physicals don't mean much.

Morey used the physical as an excuse to not sign Motiejunas .....I guess he had doubts about his availability and was not a defender of Donatas.

Organizations do that all the time, turn a blind eye on injured veteran players but use the physical as excuse for a young player that they are doubtful about.

In 3 years Sheppard will still be a bench player.

I think Reed has something but will he be a star, I just don’t see it. He's too small and he doesn't have the handles of a CP3.

We could have definitely used a quality big.

Depends on the definition of star. He projects to be a much better version of FVV who is the teams highest paid player.

Because that is what he has always been. The only chance he may have as a starter will be this upcoming game if/when VanPokey is suspended.

What do you mean always? His career hasn't even hit 1/4 of one season. He was drafted to a decent team so he wasn't going to be gifted 30 mpg like high draft picks typically are. Even harden started on the bench

I would never wish that upon anyone. Just like before the draft, I saw that he was not top 3 pick (or even lottery) worthy. Dont blame me because you have low expectations for players.

It's cool if you want to lie about it, but it changes nothing.

You rolled with a really dumb hot take, and now you are hoping he fails so you don't look really stupid.

Unfortunately for you, the kid is already playing well.
