I do think if the Rockets had other guys who were scoring consistently tonight, Ime would've maybe made that switch defensively. But the only one who did anything besides Sengun was Amen and a lot of his baskets were off of turnovers. Almost everyone sucked in this game.

Tari getting 20 mins to FVV and Brooks over 30 was ridiculous. This is the third game that Ime has lost with his vet-itis.

Tari was terrible today. He went 0-7. Missed point blank shot after point blank shot. Normally i agree with you but today wasn't the day.

I agree. I understand it's a tough call when the whole team was playing like garbage. Sengun struggled against Clingan and he didn't necessarily dominate the other small guy they had on him, but at least he kept making plays and kept the scoreboard moving. The problem was that the Blazers exploited him being able to stop Simmons downhill on the PnR.

Brooks was better than Tari tonight.

FVV was horrible as well. Tari’s defense down the stretch would have been very helpful.

They were not going to bench Fred for Tari.

    Nope.

We lost because we lost the rebound battle. Very often our backcourt shoots poorly and we win, because we win the possession and shots battle.

Tonight, we lost that battle and lost. Its quite simple.

Avdija stopped him 1 time out of five to end game. Hardly getting clamped. We need to get him the ball earlier in shot clock so he can actually operate.

obviously not. If they watched the game they would realize what a stupid statement they just made.

You watched this game and thought we lost cuz of defense? We scored 98 points........ defense was fine shouldn't even have been a close game. If your boy didn't shoot 3-14 and 1-9 from three maybe it wouldn't have mattered....

At a holiday party, couldn’t watch the game. Good one to miss, looks like. The box score says Amen was perfect from 3, so there’s that glimmer of hope. Reed 2/4 from 3– pleased to see he took 4 3s!

    Clingon had 19 rebounds. Unacceptable.

Two bright spots were Amen and Reed. Really got to see Reed more comfortable and carrying the load on offense for a bit. It’s just a matter of time before he replaces Jalen.

Reed needs to work on his moves off the dribble.
