He will replace Boban and Mutombo as the fan favorite big guy who’s funny as hell, but also injured and playing much less than we want. He’s already questionable.

Crazy how much we will need him this year after many, including myself, doubted his fit with lack of ability to spread the floor. We will win many games with beating the other team on the boards, hustling, being tougher than the opponent and getting second chance opportunities and having great screens set so guys can get off clean looks. All things Adams will help with!

I am concerned about the minutes restriction of Adams and Eason.

Is it because the medical staff cautioned them to play 15-20 minutes?

Does not bode well for Eason if true.

Adams is looking slow out there. We need Landale as the 3rd center. Eason is coming off surgery. I admit I'm quite concerned, with his minutes restrictions. I hope it won't be like that for too long.

The most concern I have is towards the hush policy of the Rockets and I have been that since the Yao days.

I mean yes, you don't want to scare off your fans but I would prefer transparency over not knowing and speculation.

It is like a secret society.

A healthy Adams in his prime is a tremendous option for the team, but as I said, despite the circle jerking of the usual “replace Sengun with anyone with a pulse” crowd over a couple of good screens in preseason, it’s going to take time before Adams can get back to form, if ever, after that injury. As it is, he is damn near unplayable, and we should be thankful to have Landale taking those minutes right now.

I remember very well who was hyping him up, hoping he would take minutes from Alpi.

Same people who were suddenly Bruno Fernando fans.

I think he can still be good for us, and I hope we extend him on a bargain deal, but he has clearly not been at 100%.

Let’s just say there’s a reason I’m not allowed to start threads anymore despite half the trash on here. Sometimes the truth is the most hard pill to swallow.

Pretty sure the reason is not your opinion on a certain player but your attitude toward someone who doesn't agree with you.

Adams doesn't deserve minutes over Jock. Jock was so bad to start last season and I think Stone thought he was getting the best of both worlds with an upgrade and an expiring. Adams may be good again, but most likely not this season. With the Rockets at 11-5 now, it's time to bench Adams go for wins. I may be giving up on him too early, I'll admit I gave up on Jock last season too and am now thrilled with his production and contract.

Let Adams sit out until he is ready.

he doesn’t look healthy and he’s not gonna play enough this year to make much of a difference. I don’t trust big men in their 30’s to be the same players after a PCL injury like the one he had. It’s not like Jock’s injury. He’s been out 2 seasons.

Adams is a guy I’d package as an expiring at the deadline and try to at least recoup some value. Jock is a perfectly capable backup center.

I don’t care if someone doesn’t agree with me, I’m not going to have an attitude towards that. I may have an attitude towards bias, slander, hypocrisy though. Maybe I should be a bit nicer the next time I call it out? Let’s see if that helps.

I told you guys he was washed. I respect the **** outta him but the injuries have taken their toll and he is basically what Marcus Camby was when he came here at the end of his career

This is why you don't trade for a player with a major injury.

There's just no mobility in him. He was never quick, but he's glacially slow now.

On top of that he creates more spacing issues as a compete non shooter, on a team that already has spacing issues.
