He is Fox but Fox is right now much better, better handles and also just 26-27. Actually not that old. Given that Green is about to turn 23 in 3 and half months time.
...if he just could rid himself of that 18-24 seconds in the shot clock, 3pt attempt coming off the high screen - he would be WAYYYYY better off. They never go in and he takes like 3 or 4 of that shot every game. There is no way that shot is the best shot they could get.
I wouldnt say great. he is 4 percentage points above jalen and in his 4th year he was where Jalen is now. SO there is some hope for next year.
That's the year Lavine tore his acl so all his numbers that season are trash. He shot 39% the 2 prior seasons, and outside of his injury that year his rookie year was the only time he was under league average TS. He went 96-101-104 so he showed a clear improvement and 104 for a guard is good.
Lavine was traded in his 4th year and had to start over but his stats took off in Chicago......his 5th year. So the change of scenery worked for him after a sluggish start.
Very disappointed that Green has regressed every year on his 3pt shooting. That’s inexcusable, especially for a SG.
If this guy was consistently doing what he did in the first few games, he would have a solid chance to make it to one of the all nba teams. The games where he plays like that makes me think he is up there with Booker, Mitchell, Maxey, But then there are those other games.
He fits in nicely as ONE of the guys, some nights he will lead, some nights Alpi will some Bari, some Fred...... Good balance. DD
Professional game from JG tonight. 0 3s made but only 2 attempted. Took what was there. 18 points on high efficiency. Dub.
Jalen’s midrange looking much better. Straight up and down with his release a bit softer. No pogo stick action.
A strong midrange game and floater will help his game tremendously if threes aren't falling or he can't get to the rim. Nice game tonight
