Yeah I think it would be a win/win honestly. Reed would get some major playing time, take a lot of shots, and get a chance to run the offense and dominate the ball. And then for the rockets, we'd get to use Aaron Holiday, who still seems to be quite good. A lot better than Sheppard at least.
He's also 3 years older than Reed. Way too early to give up on Reed when it's only been 13 games into his rookie year. Give him time and I'm confident he will show out. Playing 38 minutes a night in the G-league could be really good for a couple weeks.
Way too soon to get nervous.... It's clear Ime isn't holding any hands and demands defensive competence and effort. Unfortunately, Reed is an undersized rookie so it's going to take some time.
I think there’s an adjustment for small guards, but Reed has been out of sorts on both sides of the ball.
Looking at his play today, seems pretty clear Sheppard is just too hesitant on his shots in previous games. The shot looks smooth even from way beyond the arc. He just need to be more confident to shoot those even when games are on the line, rather than just in blowouts
Where you at @roslolian. Always quick to hate on Reed but nowhere to be found when Reed sets a career record in points. Hating on this kid shows you know **** about basketball casual. Hope you learn some humility and stop acting like a jackass.
