Thanks for the breakdown, my untrained eye tells me you're spot on with thispost.

I can blame Slowik for not having a good feel on when to run his double reverses or Wildtoro fades or when he's indecisive on running the clock down .
But I just can't fault him for the offensive line woes, which along with WR injuries, is the biggest factor in us sucking on offense.

1st blunder: How are you going to hire someone with little familiarity of the Kubahan system to coach the line.

2nd blunder: There are specific attributes to play that style. Cerebral and agile before strength. I feel like Mason and Howard are stuck in quicksand. Don't know what happened to them. The good thing is you have Tunsil/Juice/Patterson, a solid foundation. Just have the balls to replace the other two in the offseason with lesser names. Watch Green be the starter again next training camp. smh

The offense can't work if you can't consistently run. And it seems like Slowik wants to force it even if it means throwing away all future coaching jobs.

IF the Texans keep Slowik around after this season, the only way I can get behind that move is if you hire an actual Kubahan tree OL coach and if you move on from some of the guys on the OL that don’t fit the type of scheme we want to run. Tunsil is an elite pass-blocking LT, but he’s not a natural fit. Howard has shown to be at least above average, within a vacuum, but also clearly isn’t a natural fit. I’m not sure how realistic it would be to move on from both tackles, but I think it’s something that has to be at least explored. It could make a massive difference for this offense if they get the right guys on the OL.

Didn't even answer the question and put it on the players and everyone else when the question was specifically about him.

Yeah, that's not exactly an inspirational Patton speech, but what do you want him to say?

"Here's what we're doing differently, shhhhhh...I'm sure the team we're playing this week won't hear about it"

If he had said "It's on me, we'll fix it" and walked away, yall would be killing him for not giving details.

Don’t get me wrong he has some WTF moments, and PFF isn’t everything, but he’s graded out at a 71 so far this season. Which is well above average.

In other words, if you throw out all the times they suck, they're still not good.

Only scored an offensive touchdown in the 2nd half because of the flags. This problem ain't going away. Cowboys passing defense is trash and the offense still looked sluggish.
