Well, the response wasn't exactly spectacular for the second most favorite web site post. I guess most people, like Brian Kagy mentioned, don't have any time to look at other pages. That is if they work for a living or go to school. I thought this post might get a better response. I collect ridiculous sites for fun. Most of them have been emailed to me by friends, or I have run across them by accident. I think the following takes the prize for the most absurd web page ever created. Does anyone have one that competes? http://www.dolphinsociety.org/indexx.htm
Not as good as yours, but entertaining nonetheless. http://jubal.westnet.com/hyperdiscordia/sacred_heart_elvis.html I also kinda like this one. It's cool when you wave your mouse pointer over the picture of Michael http://members.aol.com/gelbain/boltonwar/index2.html [This message has been edited by Pole (edited December 08, 1999).]
Here're a couple... <A HREF="http://texasrepublic.com">http://texasrepublic.com</A> and... <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Portal/5174">http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Portal/5174</A> Enjoy! [This message has been edited by AntiSonic (edited December 08, 1999).]
My favorite kooky web site is the one that "proves" that Bill Gates is, in fact, the Anti-Christ. http://www.freeyellow.com/members4/privantu/bill666.htm Like Dennis Leary said, "I'm going to hell for this bit, and you're all comin' with me." ------------------ The truth is out there... but I forget where... Dusty Garza's Spurs Report gets my vote. This is the jerkoff that ripped off Clutch's code back in the day. And no, I'm not gonna provide a link. The fewer hits he gets the better.
www.christ.org The entire site consists of the headline, "JESUS IS THE KEY, TO OUR LIFE and DEATH," a picture of Jesus, and below it, the words, "This domain name is for sale or lease." I recommend sending them an email suggesting that they change their URL to www.moneychangers.com.
Good one Will. Here's another; I wouldn't call it "absurd", but more like "misguided". http://feeding.frenzy.com/~zillah/adwm.html
