I mean it’s definitely fun being on the other side, especially on those flops which I hated even more when he was here. Sad part is, when he did get fouled, he also didn’t get the call so that cost us. I enjoyed his play at times, but due his style, I never truly appreciated him honestly in his final years. Just not my taste and not entertaining basketball. I did love him in 2013-15 roughly. Maybe it was the comeback against LAC that did it for me. I rather enjoyed Brewer, CP3, PJ, Mbah a Moute & Gerald Green those 2016-19 years.

I don't get the Harden hate. He's by far the second best rocket ever. Gave it all for this city and is really good in the community. Would be great if he came back and ended his career here. Cuz he's a definite upgrade from Jalen green.

Honestly even yesterday at his advanced age and it's very obvious he has lost a step he was still by far the clippers best player and didn't even have a bad game. The rest of the clippers were absolute trash. I do think at this new age he tries to flop even more now. I didn't actually think he flopped as much back then. He was just the master of drawing fouls by hunting peoples arms when he drove to the basket. Then at the end of the game he would always do some weird flopping **** and that's all everyone remembers.

It's funny because everyone loves Luka and he plays exactly the same. Flops even more complains about every call and his defense is actually way worse than Hardens. Already starting to see those videos of it circulating.

Problem with his play style was that the rockets empowered him to that. They thought it gave us the best chance of beating the warriors and it made sense at the time. The warriors were the greatest offense ever and the only way to beat them is the slow the game down dribble the ball out and limit possessions. It's the reason we were the only team that came close, problem is we couldn't adapt and couldn't play any other way after that. He never played that way before Houston, we made him the monster he is for good and bad.

I don’t hate Harden. I love that he made competitive for so long.

Two things, though. I think time has tempered just how poorly he acted before he left Houston. Giving up on the team, showing up overweight, saying we’re not good enough in a press conference. I’m not sure I can ever truly forgive him for that.

Second, and this is personal — while I get what you’re saying about the offense, that doesn’t mean it was fun to watch. I hated it. I far prefer watching the current iteration of the team.

Or they needed a defensive stop, and that’s JVG’s job.

Ty Lue is a tremendous coach. One of the best “in the moment” decision makers in the league, particularly with substitutions.

I'm back. I've tried for the past several years but it hasn't worked (like the Astros during the Rebuild Days) until now, or late last year to be honest. This team reminds me a whole lot of the 2015 Astros.

I find myself reading articles, looking at stats, checking standings, reading what some of yall have to say, way more than I have in the past 4ish years.

The current team still just plays harden offense just with worse players. High pick and roll and it's not effective. What's fun to watch about the current team is the chaos they can create on defense that leads to fast breaks. Everything else is basically the same. Cuz we don't use our best offensive player at all and he's just a screener.

personally I think the team gave up on him first well before he asked to be traded. Like you can't just let key role players leave in free agency every year and expect to compete with the warriors 300 million dollar payroll, same thing is happening to Jokic now. Feel bad for him and he should ask for a trade.

    Ode to James Harden:

    Sorry, b****es, for the imposition
I think I got it (got it), I got the strength to carry on, oh yeah
I need a drink and a quick decision
Now it's up to me, ooh, what will be

    he's gone, he's gone
    Oh I, oh I
I better learn how to face it
    He's gone, he's gone
    Oh I, oh I
I'd pay the devil to replace him
    He's gone, and he's gone
    Oh why, what went wrong?

Im not very Nostalgic about James. Hes definitely one of the greatest Rockets but hes down the list for my favorites.

I was happy when we finally traded him and ive loved watching him fail in other places since.

It's amazing that there was hardly any mention of Alpi's first triple double of the season on this thread. Is this a case of the fans expecting this from him regularly and it is just routine for him to achieve this? I hope this is the case since he could have had this a couple of games ago if only the shooters he passed to made their shots at a higher percentage just like in this game. Anyway, the star of the game was Bari who, hopefully, has emerged from his long slump.
