He can’t get any separation to get a shot off. And when he’s open he bricks it, or, is scared to shoot. I hope he eventually shows something.

If he has literally perfect shot mechanics why did he literally shoot a perfect zero? His shot mechanics are only at college level, he needs to clean up and make them quicker for the NBA.

Teams arent afraid of Sheppard because he was a god shooter in college. Bro dude was a 12 ppg scorer. In college. Nobody but copers like you give a crap about his college performance.

Watch some basketball for a while and you won't have to ask such stupid questions.

People got too lost in the sauce and forgot 6'1 pgs are a dime a dozen. Compared him to Curry when his average was less than half of Curry.

With that said he might still have hope if he cleans up his mechanics and adjust to the speed of the NBA game. My main concern with him was his defense but his defense actually turned out ok and its his shooting that sucks ass. If he starts shooting well he might still justify that 3rd pick in the future.

You are the stupid one here tell me again how Sheppard won't struggle in the NBA. Everything you posted about every prospect predraft was wrong AF and you are still acting like you are some basketball sage.

Dude's clanking his shots left and right don't talk about his mechanics you don't have a clue.

He cant even shoot straight and teams are scared of him because he was that good of a shooter in college? **** off dude you are delulu as ****. Busts happen every year in the NBA teams aren't shaking in their boots at Sheppard's 12 ppg in college. You post the most ridiculous bullcrap as usual.

No worries kid, I understand you don't know what you are talking about, so it's honestly not worth my time attempting to educate you.

Keep watching basketball and one of these days you might start to grasp the basics and then you can try to discuss it with the grown folk.

    Good luck.

You are the literally the one wrong about every rookie prediction you made. Knect too old. Edey too slow. Castle can't shoot lmao. You endorsing Sheppard is probably the reason he lost all his shooting touch you have a curse worse than DD.

Maybe if you start watching basketball and dont box score watch all the time you won't look like a clown next time.

I haven't given up on Reed but Stephon Castle looks like the better pick right now. Same with Clingan and a few other guys.

I’m positive you don’t know what you are talking about. I am curious why you think you do though. Almost every person that posts as much as you is full of **** and I will probably put you on ignore after this. But I want you to explain how on every thread I see posts from you…you use definitive statements. I know this player is good at X or is going to be bad forever at Y. You can’t possibly believe you know these things right? It’s not just that you are positive about 20 year olds…it’s that you sound like a douche. My criticism about how you engage on the internet probably won’t register but I don’t care cause I’m old now. Doesn’t mean you aren’t a douche.

Watching Rosolian and Bobby argue is, to quote Adam Sandler, like being in the middle of a moron sandwich or having idiot in stereo.

Nah you are the one who doesnt know what you are talking about. I never said they will be bad forever you clown. In fact if you actually bothered to read posts before you opened your fat mouth you'd know Bobby is the one making definitive statements not me.

Stop being a clown you clown.

It’s time to ban this *******. Why don’t you have some Jolibee and calm the **** down. I have been on this board for over 20 years and you’re the nastiest little **** I have ever seen. Learn some manners, we don’t like this in Texas. Learn some etiquette clown.

Yeah I'm actually surprised at how much of a hard time he is having. It's not even the shooting or size, it's a general lack of urgency and passiveness.

If he's just going to go out there and try not to make mistakes, why even play.

To be fair, he is a month into his rookie season. I'm gonna cut him a little break.

lol yall need to calm down. He’s 20 and has only played 13 nba games. What is it and this forum’s desire to make premature sweeping declarations about young players?

At this point Aaron Holiday should be getting minutes over Reed. That’s not an insult. Holiday has been making shots and Reed hasn’t. Reed needs to go to the G league and play big minutes. Playing 10 minutes a night in the NBA isn’t doing him much good.

I think the talent is there to be a good NBA player, but it’s going to take time. He needs to be the primary ball handler, and I think he could be good in that role because he has good court vision and is unselfish. I don’t see why he couldn’t do what Fred currently does. But, Reed needs to get comfortable handling the ball and running the offense. I think the G league could really benefit him.

    Holiday > Reed

    Landale > Adams

Send Reed to the G-league, bench Steve until he starts moving better, if he can.

Aaron Holiday should be getting minutes if one values winning almost completely over development. Holiday would be a nice fit to give Amen some more on ball reps.

Exactly my thoughts as well. Reed needs minutes, but Holiday is going to do more to help you win right now. It's a tough balance. I think G league is a good place for Reed at the moment.
