There is just no way to project how bad the overall economy is going to get, how prices and demand will be and if there will be serious social upheaval. That’s all an anathema to growth and innovation. Who wants to start a massive project if we could see massive inflation and cost increases with decreased demand for the final product? Many people in the position to back growth and innovation saw how a multi-year disaster affected their projects during the pandemic. They won’t be throwing money around. I hope it all works out, but with each, more wtf cabinet member Trump picks I’m not optimistic.
