has pitched 8 lights-out innings. 5 hits, no runs. I'm not a Dodgers fan, but I'm really pulling for the guy.
He's pitching a HELL of a game against the Cards. I'm pulling for the Dodgers, mainly so the Cards don't have extra time to rest before the NLCS. and they're leaving him in for the 9th- No Gagne! The way he's pitched so far, he's earned it. Ole! Edit: complete game shutout! What a game. Congrats, Lima time.
I never thought I'd see Lima get back to this kind of success in his career, but I'm happy for the guy. Lima brought that electricity. Alot of fly ball outs (mainly the reason he coulnd't pitch at MMP) Too bad the Dodgers don't have that Bonafide #1 starter. This series couldve gotten really interesting. What happened to Brad Penny again?
Lima is a dodger not an astro. but anyway, It's the Karma. The Jungle Karma. It is fullproof. see season 2000.
Watched the last 5 innings. I was pulling for Lima the whole time. Even when he went 7-16, I've been a fan. It will be Lima Time again!
lima could have still pitched here and been damn good if he hadn't have let that left field porch get in his mind. even as a flyball pitcher the outfield up center is as big as it gets.
The left field porch got in every Astros pitchers head except for Shane Reynolds and Billy Wagner. Lima was though by far the most affected of the bunch. I am glad though to see him get back to the majors. I just enjoy his enthusiasm for the game.
I hear you on this. You can poke your eye out with one of those things; however, I am not complaining.
