Musk is going to pucker those lips for good. Trump owns that boy now. Must got stuck with Twitter and he needed Trump's Ruskies to bail him out - the price of course was going full MAGA which he gladly bent over and did.

Nope. I solid my EV stocks and bought TESLA because of this. Tesla supports this, why? Because it will kill all competition and let Tesla corner the market. Killing the credit is a boon to Musk. Once you wipe out the competition, Trump can put the EV credit back - effectively giving Musk the sole advantage.

I have a mini. Haven't set it up yet, but I think after a while, they just "activate it" anyway and you start paying. I got it just in case everything else fails.

Most companies don't sell many EVs. This hurts Tesla the most since they sell a lot of EVs and this makes most tesla's 20% more expensive.

I will never forgive capitalism for rewarding people like this as society's leaders.

Short term vs long term. Long term it helps. They will bring back the credit and likely double it. Or, musk will benefit in other ways that will make Tesla a small sacrifice.

Tesla knows it will hurt the competition more. It is also important to note that Tesla dropped the prices of their cars because of price caps for the IRA tax credits.

Also note, before the passage of the IRA, Teslas did not qualify for federal tax credits anymore, but business was still going well for them. They know they don't need the credits to sell cars. This has actually been a bad year for Tesla, as it is the first year they won't have grown sales. Still a very successful company, but substantially overpriced given flattening sales.

And if you can crush out the lower priced EV's, TESLA can zoom in to take the market

Every EV mfg builds EVs at a loss, except Tesla.
Tesla is well aware the credits will expire eventually. There was no incentive for Tesla to offer a compact car and cannibalize their cash cows.
Their biggest growth is currently coming from energy storage.
Cyber cab and Optimus are in development.

Tesla cars do not have to have high margins forever. Legacy is ****ed.

It will ONLY happen if the government stops the BILLIONS in aide they give Elon and his businesses, Elon will keep cuddling up to Trump's nutsack as long as he is paid.

Not liking Elon since he sided with Amber 'I stepped on a bee' 'Aquaman' Heard.

His master plan of harvesting her eggs.
