Are they getting a player prospect too? Because if not, are the “20 picks” all that good?
The OKC picks aren’t worth much, as they’ll be favorites to win it all. The Houston picks shouldn’t be that valuable either if we continue improving.
The 25 Utah and MIA picks are lottery protected. In 26 maybe the Clippers swap could be high lottery. Denver’s 27? I still see them at least 2nd round playoff team and it’s 1-5 protected. Another clippers swap in 27 is probably a good pick. Dallas’ 28, where is Luka? 29 Denver top 5 protected, maybe they’ll be over the hill by then?

Giannis is too impactful to not get some young, legitimate prospect back, imo.

I would trade anyone outside of Alpi, Tari, Amen, Reed for Giannis.

Sure. I mean I guess you can squint hard enough and try to act like Stone didn't stunt the development of several of the youth by cramming a KPJ shaped peg into a mentally sane hole.

It works in the sense that I'm in the Jokic mold, not super in shape and not much hops

When Jabari’s and Cam’s value rebounds a little, particularly Jabari.

When Jalen / Alpi becomes tradeable.

When Reed picks the baton from FVV (or not).

    When Dillon’s value peaks.

When a bona-fide star becomes available and seems a good fit with the roster.

When the team knows who is who and best way to optimize the roster.

Note I didn’t mention Tari or Amen. Because they are UNTOUCHABLE

I think unless you get a good deal you wait till the offseason when Green and Sengun's contracts are solidified.

The time when the Rockets are ready to make a trade and when a player they like becomes available may not line up, there could easily be an all-star level player that becomes available and the Rockets need to make a decision. If the Mavs continue to struggle, I would make a call on Kyrie. He is a low risk high reward guy with an expiring contract (player option next year, and he has out performed his deal). The team needs an efficient guard more than anything else right now. If you replace Fred w Kyrie you can at least make a push for playoffs and actually be competitive this year without losing too much. Not sure what all we would need to add to entice the Mavs, but given they are both essentially expiring deals I hope it is not too steep.

The Mavs aren't giving up Kyrie! Once they get PJ Washington back then they'll start to play better. I can see them moving on from Klau before Kyrie.

You don’t pick up Fred’s option and you trade Brooks this off-season

I'm willing to use in trade:

    Jabari
    Tate
    Jeff Green
    Jock Landale
    Dillon Brooks
    VanVleet
    Reed Sheppard

    Own Draft Picks

Suns Picks ( sooner vs later years )

    _____________
    Outside (possibilty)
Cam Whitmore (such amazing potential.....pass a little more to avoid black hole status)
Steven Adams (opens up so much space with his screens)

*Don't need VanVleet or Reed Sheppard if Holiday/Jalen Green can bring the ball up the court.
Half Court sets run by Sengun, Jalen Green and ?Giannis? ?Jerami Grant?
