I'm trying to figure out how a team of young fresh out of college interns decided to make the Harris campaign into the spiritual successor of early aughts neo-conservative politics.

I don't buy it. Young interns suggested Cheney? Young interns decided that the campaign's economic policy is "we need more small businesses so we should give tax breaks to prospective entrepreneurs" because for millions of people the difference between living paycheck to paycheck barely making rent to becoming a successful small business owner is some tax breaks.

Young interns chose to have Harris wax lyrical about the patriotism of the Cheneys, the architect of the trillion dollar cesspit that was the War on Terror?

Young interns chose to defend Harris economic plan by saying Goldman Sacs, one of the most well known investment banking firms responsible for the 2008 housing crisis, approved of her economic plan?

Do you have a link to a disclosure of how much debt his campaign does have?

A wave of global inflation, that affected every country, was what determined this election. By all means, the Ds should reconfigure their operations to maximize results if and only if there is another global inflation wave.

The next two elections, 2026 and 2028, should favor the Ds as the opposition party. The Rs will have to reduce the cost of living to have a chance. Convicted Felon Donald Trump has other plans. Deporting millions of illegals and raising tariffs across the board 20% will be a gut punch to the economy and make the cost of living rise. If Mush gets a say, 1/3 of federal employees will be unemployed which should be a huge drag on the economy.

Convicted Felon Donald Trump is an idiot. All praise the Convicted Felon.

@Rocket River the Ds do have some long term work to do on getting their message to the low information voters ... but ... many of these voters may sit out an election without the Convicted Felon on it.

It tells me voters weren't buying what she was selling. You get more mileage out of your marketing dollars when customers like the product compared to when they don't. It doesn't tell me much about how good she is at managing money. It just tells me voters didn't want her to be president.

Worse or she ran into a deficit because if she had left money on the table, people would've been in an uproar regardless? She has declared bankruptcy exactly 0 times vs at least 6.

I think the core and leadership of the party is still advocating for these groups for the sole reason no one else is, at least until the money shifts and Hollywood starts reading Maher's and Hinchcliffe's klan newsletters. it will possibly cost a 40 year majority in congress similar to what Republicans lost after Ike's first mid-term; given the latino male shift to majority GOP and young white men finally putting in for management roles during senior spring

Gelindo 'Lindy' Infante (March 27, 1940 – October 8, 2015) was an American football player and coach, who became an offensive coordinator and head coach in both the National Football League (NFL) and the United States Football League (USFL). Infante played college football for the University of Florida, and later served as the head coach of the Jacksonville Bulls of the USFL, and the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts of the NFL.

Voters definitely were not buying what she was selling...but I don't understand how that relates to her large campaign deficit. She wasn't selling an actual product for money, she was selling herself to hold an office.
