He shot 13% from three last year. This year he is at 27% with more attempts. If he finishes the season at 25% with more attempts, I will be happy because he will have made a major leap. Ideally, he gets into the 35% range in a season or two
The two corner 3s he made last night was definitely very encouraging. He's now 4/12 on the year on corner 3s which if the trend can hold for the rest of the year would be amazing. He really just need to be around 35% in the corner to be viable off-ball on offense. He and Tari both clearly upped their 3pt shooting over the summer. It's too bad Jabari and FVV have both regressed badly making our offense still crap.
