This is actually pretty sad that the Rockets can't hit the side of a barn in many years....all those average shooters.

And the Worriers shoot over 40% pretty consistently over the decades.

 

NBA Cup games are simply way more intense than regular games.

 

They are a lot closer too......almost no 30-40 point blowouts.

 

It makes sense they are more intense, 82 games is a long ass grind and expecting people to just bring the same intensity is just something we cannot expect and unrealistic. Then you have a different setting, something different to play for, money, a cup etc of course it’s going to be a bit more like a play-off intensity. I therefore expect a more aggressive Clippers team and hopefully some of our starters can bring it too. Our bench is going to bring it regardless.
