This may be a stupid idea but what if the government implemented a policy where a not legal immigrant can gain citizenship by committing to a branch of the armed services for 4 years. Once an honorable discharge is achieved you and your family if you have one become an American citizen.
The person will have learned a trade and hopefully will be able to get a job for much more than minimum wage once out. Some might even stay for the full 20 year hitch and retire.

It's dumb I know. Just spit balling

I received a phone call from the principal that four students were over heard saying they planned to “beat up” my son because two of their fathers saw that my wife put a Kamala Harris/Planned Parenthood sign in the yard because she supported Harris.

Not acceptable. As I told the principal- I will withhold funding if my son is attacked because of a sign his mother put in the yard. I also let the l fathers of these children know that if they so much as talk to my son that I will drag them out of their homes and beat them in front of their children and wives.

To those that think it’s funny or boys being boys - it isn’t.

This guy is an idiot and so are you for sharing this ****. Some CEO you are that has no critical thinking. Hitler picked the Jews because they were the "others" in Germany. If the majority group of "others" had been Hispanics, then Hitler would have picked them to demonize. Trunp uses the same rhetoric, just a different group of "others".

Idk how old these kids are, but things devolving to the point that threats are being made over politics is sad and insane

growing up, none of us gave a fck about politics…that wasn’t on a kid’s mind, nor were parents involving their children in it

Yes racism and supremacy exists in other communities. I grew up in Houston with a ton of Hispanic friends and know the culture as well as a Gringo can. Years in the restaurant industry is also an eye opener. I’ve seen the bad blood between Mexicans and people from El Salvador.

I assume even now a lot of Mexicans that are here look at the people coming across the border and assume they are from countries like Honduras or Venezuela and have no cultural connections at all. The believe they are Americans and have status that they’ve earned and I’m definitely not disagreeing with them, but it’s the truth that Hispanics or Latinos that have been here for years or even generations can be just as racist at someone from Honduras or El Salvador that just came here as a white redneck at a NASCAR race.

There has also been a huge investment over the past 10 years with republican billionaires to blanket Spanish speaking radio with right wing propaganda. That investment is paying off dramatically.

Lastly the trans and culture wars issues plays well in the Latino community because of the deep Catholic ties in most households that are very religious. That’s not white supremacy but it is a form of bigotry you’ll see in Latino households and also black households as well.

I agree though that focusing on “They are Nazis” isn’t the way to win elections.

However in this election cycle keep in mind that the big October surprise (which wasn’t really a huge surprise) was Trumps Chief of Staff speaking on the record about how Trump would often praise Hitlers generals etc. The media obviously picked that up and collectively Trump supporters just blamed the Kamala campaign for calling Trumpers Nazi’s to try and gaslight as a strategy and it looks like that strategy worked with you. Kamala’s campaign was not campaigning that Trump supporters were Nazi’s but the MAGA propaganda outlets were able to take a liability and use gaslighting tactics to turn that liability into a strength for their base to be fired up and think of themselves as victims.

Pretty smart. The reality is the reality though. I don’t think it’s fair to sugar coat things just because people are snowflakes and can’t handle the truth. As we see with the Trump praising Hitler story, Trump supporters are going to find any excuse to cry like victims anyways.

So true. My family is like super MAGA now but growing up I think the only time my parents really ever got worked up over politics was when ole Bill got a Blowey in the White House. That was a big deal at the time nobody avoided.

But FoxNews wasn’t a thing. Political news wasn’t around at all. We watched the local news only and the most notable part of it was Marvin Zinder’s “slime in the ice machine” segment (Houston gen X and millennials know what I’m talking about).

It makes me sad now that my 9 year old already has a polarized class room in the 4th grade because politics is so unavoidable in our society. It’s so in your face all the time that you can’t even insulate 9 year olds from it.

That was the biggest thing I was hoping to get with a Kamala win honestly. Just finally being able to make Trump irrelevant where insane crap isn’t happening every day to where this would be in our faces as a society. As I mentioned politics only got covered heavily when Clinton had his scandal. Now we have another 4 years at least of having outrage after outrage reinforcing as a society this need to have this garbage consuming our lives and it being unavoidable even for 9 year olds.

A friend of mine who is Dominican and an immigration lawyer said on Friday somebody told her they can’t wait until she gets deported.

We’re going to see much more of stuff like this. People seem to forget how much stuff like this was happening during the last Trump Presidency.

Even most Trump supporters admit he is profane and vulgar. Some even like it. Many rationalize it by saying that they like his policies and aren’t electing a saint. People then wonder why our culture is getting more profane and divisive. When the President of the United States used language and acts in a way that most people wouldnt want their children to.

I find it interesting that it isn't white supremacy now, but bigotry from all races and supremacy/racism from other communities.

It's very easy to fling mud and say things negatively. Like I could say that the left propaganda worked on you, insofar as you believe in the white supremacy argument. It's an easy thing to say, hard one to prove. There's no real evidence that people were voting for hatred of other people.

Do I think that happened? Yes, I think there were people who voted for Trump because he was the only white guy on the ballot. I also think there were people who voted for Kamala because she was a woman or because she wasn't white.

But let's be real, her campaign wasn't good. Not only was it not good, it was short because of Biden stepping down. No one really knew what she was for because of that, and because of all the clips are her saying the exact opposite of what she was saying on the campaign trail. People couldn't trust it.

People knew what Trump was about, he hasn't changed. Border security, tariffs, lower taxes, end regulations, etc. And for the majority of Americans, it resonated. People were upset over the last 4 years and wanted to change it, they still had fond feelings of 2016-2019. I don't personally think you can get prices to go back down now (maybe energy), but to just boil it down to white supremacy (or "bigotry in lots of different households") just seems like a leftist propaganda strategy that worked on you.

When will Trump fulfil his promise of removing the prison out of the blood of our country that migrants have brought in?

The Western white colonial era to its modern nationalist era has always had a long history of "divide and conquer".

A more powerful wealthy entity will find a way to obtain more wealth and power through making sure smaller factions below them fight amongst each other.

The American Right has done this with things like the Black and Asian communities or feminist and trans communities. Right wing media infrastructure does a great job of trying to sell a narrative that these sides are all against each other

First of all... Lets' back up. You don't know me, and you don't know what "Worked on me" or what didn't. I'm capable of critical thinking, and my thoughts are often not black and white. So slow your role there.

    Second...

Multiple things can be true. Yes we live in a country that is racist and bigoted as Fck. Let's just call a spade a spade please and not do this stupid dance. We fought a civil war over slavery for crying out loud. This country has issues with tribalism, and racism.

That being said there are multiple factors as to why Trump won the 2024 election. All of these things could have, or likely did play a part:

    Environmental outside factors:

-All incumbents in 2024 around the world got shellacked in elections
-Prices went up in 2021-23 because of supply chain issues & because of capitalism they are still high in certain areas
-Authoritarianism is on the rise globally
-Social media has broken people's brains
-Chaos in central America has led to migration for safety and prosperity/the USA is the best country to migrate to
    -Fear and racism
-Gen Z has a rise in kids rejecting identity, and transitioning is on the rise which freaks out older people/parents/conservative people
-Covid/work from home/on-line culture has bred a rise in heterosexual men feeling insecurity, and needing to feel like a man

    Micro Political Factors:

-Biden waited too long to make a decision on dropping out
-Dem primary didn't reflect electorates desires for change
-Kamala mis red the room politically, and didn't run as an outsider (which is understandable as to why even if it was a political mistake)

    ....

So that's ALOT going on that led to huge headwinds for Kamala. I think she did a really good job with the hand she was dealt, but it was probably an impossible task from the start to turn independents or those Obama - Trump - Biden voters back to the Dems. By January of 2024 those voters were already decided if they probably weren't already decided even earlier than that. I'd argue many of those voters would have always voted for the Republican after Afghanistan, and the first wave of inflation hit back in 2021. Kamala did well at gaining back the Dem voter base, and putting a good effort on the ground to stop the bleeding, but it was too late, and the swing voters would have ONLY been won back with an outsider who was running against both Trump and Biden.

But go ahead, and tell me again about my "Leftist propaganda" that worked on me.

Sometimes people need a reminder after years of being protected by anonymity with being terminally online with a quick jab in the nose so they remember that fighting words exist.

Does it hurt when someone just says the same thing back to you? That's literally what you said to me, without knowing me...so how about you slow your role? You just posted a ton of factors as to why Kamala lost that didn't have to do with white supremacy, which was my entire point. But your original point was white supremacy...so come on bro?
