Updated net rating numbers after tonight's game.

Dillon still hanging in there due to his good start. But Amen climbing up.

Because I think Amen should start over Brooks. A lineup of FVV, Green, Amen, Tari and Sengun is an equally defensive but better rebounding one.

Amen can’t shoot so this will never happen. The 3 spot needs to be able to shoot when ball rotates out

yes its about combinations and synergy. Great things happen with Tari and Amen together wreaking havoc on opponents jumping lanes, ripping, and clamping down on other second units. Then running out on breaks. I believe this is the reason.

It’s about lineup combinations. Tari plays mostly in lineups with Amen Reed and Jalen. This lineup is very good defensively and gets a lot of fast break opportunities. Likely this is why Udoka plays him here.

I love to watch these 3 playing. I was actually starting to feel bad for the Wizards tonight at the end of the night. On offense they had trouble even getting close enough to shoot with all the steals and disruptions, and on defense Alpi was destroying them.

I love the lineups with those 3. I would also like to see Reed with them. He can also be a pest and I have faith he will be a solid point guard for us for years to come.

The Rockets do have a recent tendency to spam a higher pick to save face, instead of acknowledging the talent disparity and rewarding the lower pick who is miles ahead in talent and output.

I think these are the 3 guys to build around. Now, someone tell me why we near maxed Jalen? ;)

Didn't make sense at the time.

Didn't make sense when Jalen had a career high of 4 above average to good games in a row.

Makes no sense now when he reverts to who he has been for the past 3 seasons.

He has a 109 defensive rating this season. If you think he’s the “same guy,” you don’t know ball.

I think Green, Eason, Amen, and Sengun have proven to be our best prospects. They fit well together, too. Sheppard’s TBD, but we have time with him. While I wasn’t too high on making a trade before, I do wonder if we should look at packaging Whitmore, Bari, and FVV for an upgrade at the deadline. We looked competent last night without FVV.

The guy does nothing to impact winning. And whatever you think he MIGHT do well, Tari Eason does it better. Jabari has had one good half of basketball to me and it was when we were down by 30 to the Warriors and the pressure was off.
