Preach. If we ever fire Udoka for one of these 2nd rate coaches the haters will blame the owner next. I’ve seen this movie before.

The fact that we are top 12 in offensive rating and top 7 in defense rating (top 8 net rating) is a testament to the culture change in this organization. Especially since we don’t even have a superstar yet.

The shooting is incomprehensible. This is an absolutely terrible shooting team and it's going to catch up with them at some point. They are winning because they are tough, but that will only take you so far. The offense simply isn't nearly good enough right now.

Jabari Smith is shooting threes about like Amen Thompson usually does and that's not okay. Out of everyone, he's probably my biggest disappointment so far. The good news is that it's almost certainly going to get better, and they're winning despite of it. That's pretty impressive. This is going to be a pretty solid team once they put it all together.

Any rookies won't be easy under coached by Udoka.

**** it let’s roll. I already know we’re not good enough. But it’s super easy to root for teams with talent deficiencies that just work hard.

Been saying this. It’s wild to me that folks watch these games and blame offensive issues on the coach. Wild. There’s only 24 seconds. I’d get it if there wasn’t a shot clock. But there’s a shot clock. If the ball finds you and you’re open you need to be able to hit that shot. We don’t.

    winning regardless. Go Rockets

They are also winning because of continuity and players not being injured other than Fred. Other teams have tons more injuries.

We don’t have an all star in this lineup. There is no one on this roster so valuable that losing him for a bit would cost us much of anything. Still winning.

Of course because it switched from being a Fred and Alpe two man action to wings playing off each other a lot more.

In time, had it not, we would still be stuck in old ways.

Amen, Tari Sengun and Dillon played really well. Those guys are pretty consistent. Jalen and Bari weren’t up to par through the 3 quarters I watched (missed some of the 4th quarter). Wish Reed played more.

we need to build around Tari, Sengun and Amen. I like having cam and Reed as huge upside players early into rookie contracts. I hate that we extended Jalen. I would package Bari, Landale and Tate for a really good asset or high level starter.

And don’t try to lump Jalen in with Shangun, lol Jabari was awful, Jalen was subpar, Sangun played good. Our role players for the most part played good.

We can win games without Fred.

I hope Ime can realize he doesn't have to play Fred 40 minutes each game.

    Love these two!

As far as this game goes, it has become very obvious to me that if we had two guys who would actually make their wide open threes, we would be a serious team to deal with come play-off time. And we would absolutely have no more than 1-2 losses if we could run fast breaks properly and have decent passers.

That’s the other thing, we simply do not have a PG on this team, we just do not. Reed, Aaron & FVV are shooters in small bodies, Green has terrible hands and makes lazy passes, Amen is not a PG either but could be decent. Reed might become one eventually. Right now it’s not just not having a PG, it’s just not having the solid passers to even have more ball movement on offense as we already commit way too many turnovers.

So I get why FVV is valued so much, though I still think if our goal is to play faster and run more fast breaks then you cannot have so many FVV minutes and even less so let him be the guy to bring the ball up. So often FVV is allowed to get the board so he can initiate the offense, but it’s so counterproductive. You immediately saw the difference with Amen wanting to run. At some point a decision needs to be made.

It's laughable how many minutes Adams is getting right now, he is nothing but a liability out there.

I'd love to see the Wizards points in the paint with Adams on the court as opposed to horrible worst defensive player in the league Sengun on the court.

Jabari really doing the Rockets a favour and taking one player out of contention of those who think they need to get paid in the future.

For the second time this year - aggressive Reed is a great Reed.

For the *insert how many games the Rockets have played this season so far - Amen on defense. Running out of words to describe it.

Hey @Mathloom, what's the title for Chapter 10? Because we speed read through Chapter 9 in like 4 games. Is it Chapter 10: Here We Go Again, Who Could've Possibly Seen This Coming?

Anyone catch when Sengun forced the jump ball in the second half, a teammate grabbed his right hand to help him up, Jalen was right there on his left side to help pull him up. Didn't even both to pretend to extend an arm. Pathetic.
