He is the walking stereotype of the long athletic player who teams just assume they will be able to teach how to play basketball.

 

Jalen's efficiency might improve on catch and shoot opportunities from Sengun's passing.

 

I kinda get it. Our 2nd unit is very strong with Amen and Tari and Ime is scared that benching Jabari for Tari might disrupt what's already working great but because of the fact that Jabari and Jalen can't shoot 3's we can't kill the game when we are like 8 points ahead. Benching Jabari for Tari would make us a slightly better 3pt shooting team but our 2nd unit will be weakened. So the solution is simple we get rid of Jabari. He's absolutely the odd man out at the moment.

Alpy back to normal. If anything his rebounding and defense has improved. Should get his first All Star selection this year. Closed out the Wizards by himself.

Jalen back to normal as well. 3 pt percentage should be back under 35% after today. Turnover machine against one of the worst defenses in the league. If he's to be the starter we need good shooting to mitigate him.

Jabari. Yikes.

Bash brothers. Absolute game changers on defense and on the break.

Reed. Great showing, gets overlooked a lot. Do not like him and Jalen on the court together (mainly because they have no chemistry).

Adams. Meh.

Udoka. Still takes too long with rotations. But we're 7-4 which is better than last year. Ws over Dallas, Knicks and Grizz.

What a joy it is to watch Amen and Tari play together. Two incredible athletes busting their tails, outworking everybody else and making plays out of nothing.

 

True but they don’t do anything to get him open. No picks, motion, dribble hand offs or kick outs. He gets himself open with the pump fake to a pull up elbow jumper and that’s money.

 

I know it was against two bottom-feeders, but I thought Udoka did an excellent job with the rotation and managing the minutes of the players in these past two games.

Even in a tight game against Detroit, most of the core guys played 23 to 34 minutes, and FVV played 37, which is low for him. That has to have helped in the second back-to-back game against Washington.

Reed could easily become the next Korver/Nash hybrid.

Jabari and green both didn’t play well today. Not sure you can include green in “play well” category with a straight face
