No. When he's that great and awesome, he would just be the super star IN HOUSTON.

Things you prematurely stated that were 100% wrong:
-The Dillon Brooks the worst signing ever
    -Stone the worst GM
-Jalen Green being a complete bust

The Dillon Brooks contract is awful.

Stone blew several top picks and have out bag contracts...

Jalen Green played like a complete bust for his first 3 seasons and he's not looking all that good this season...

Dillon Brooks has the highest +/- on this roster

What top picks has Stone "blew" threw? And we have one of the youngest winning cores in the NBA. Plus every GM including Presti has got picks wrong, so what are you saying exactly?

Um, we're winning & Jalen is the closer for this team. Remember when you said his 5 game streak last year was a fluke? You stand by that?

    The answer is quite obvious.

But then again a Jalen extension after his first 3 years in the league was quite obvious too, and the Rockets went in the opposite direction.

So it's a crapshoot at the moment whether this organisation makes the right decision or a stupid one.

Your worries are groundless Tari is a restricted free agent. This is also why people shouldnt be mad Jabari isnt playing the best because that means he wont get paid much.

This is why Sengun and JG signing for less than max mattered a lot that means they need to beat out those two and become all stars if they want to be paid more.

No need to be condescending. This is a place for open discussion. I wasn’t aware he was a restricted free agent. That’s a little reassuring. I’m sure somebody will still throw a max offer at him but at least it’s in our hands if he stays or not

I'm not being condescending I'm just stating the facts. He cant even be extended last year so I wish you did some research first if you were really so concerned.

Also I doubt any team throws a max offer for him nobody threw a max offer at Sengun.

Tari has been great but he also only averaging 11/5/1 nobody will pay him 42M for that c'mon.

He is a RFA if he cannot sign an extension in the next year. (much like Alpe and Jalen)

Tari is a guy I think we cannot afford to let get to RFA. He will cost more in RFA because other teams are compitant at evaluating talent. And you feel good about giving Tari money. Unlike what we just did with Jalen.

It was an 8 game fluke streak, not 5 games.... and yes, obviously it was a fluke.

No idiot, before that he had another streak of games in which you incorrectly said would be his last. Forgot that easy? I called you out then too

lol you weirdos are really coming out of the woodwork now that Jalen is only putting up 18-20 ppg with good defense instead of 25+ with good defense? We’ll miss you when he gets hot again!

The only team that was eligible to negotiate with Sengun was the Rockets. He never went into RFA. If he did not agree to the deal offered to him and he went into RFA after this season I can guarantee he would have received a max offer from another team(assuming he was healthy).

You never really know how players will turn out during the draft. Research and watching them play in college can only tell you so much. Kawhi Leonard was the 15th pick of his draft in 2011, Tari the 17th in 2022. Kawhi is considered a superstar, an unlikely outcome when he was drafted, one that's been unlucky for a long stretch with injuries.

Tari has the potential to become a real star, and if he can stay healthy he will, in my opinion. Heck, Bari could still turn things around. Time will tell. As it stand now, I certainly agree with you. As for whether we can afford to keep Tari, we can, in my opinion. Stone should give him an extension as soon as it's allowed.

He is certainly separating himself in the Rocket's 2022 rookie class. It's still a long season and the Rockets don't have to be hasty in making an offer at this point.
