You don’t need to raise awareness that the Refs are bad everyone knows the Refs are bad, not just in the NFL but all Leagues across the world. Refs get blamed for every loss damn near. Have we benefitted from the refs screwing the other team? Yes we have.

It’s easier to talk about your own teams short comings than something you can’t change.

The Barnett hit was helmet to helmet and it’s almost always called in todays league. Luckily we benefited.

What games did we win this season solely because the refs wanted us to?

Using the refs as to blowing a 20 point lead doesn’t work.

You can be glass half empty, i'll be glass half full. We played the best team in the nfl, without our best offensive or defensive players, and it STILL took the refs to beat us. I'm far far far more optimistic about this team than i was 24 hours ago, or a week ago, or 2 or 3 weeks ago.

I’m not saying this season or even this sport.
I’m talking about across all sports.
The Texans, rockets, Astros, have at least once been helped by refs bailing them out.
Just like every other major sports team, The refs have given them a win just as much as they given them a loss.
Did the refs miss the call? Yes they did. Did we still have an opportunity to close the game out before that moment? I’ll leave that up to you.

If we ended up winning on that last drive there would still be a ton of talk about how the Texans **** the bed in the second half, and it would be deserved. We’d still be talking about CJ not looking like himself. The passive play, etc.

We’d all have been much happier winning of course.

I can’t even believe we have people on here talking about taking the lions “down to the wire” etc. refs screwing us

WE HAD THEM ON THE ****ING ROPES, BEATEN. DEAD. And we have zero killer instinct and couldn’t finish the job. Do you guys watch the game or just check box scores?

What a moronic, beta mindset. Ridiculous. I’m as disgusted with that mentality as I am with my football team.

Houston football just keeps finding new ways to embarrass itself and lose games.

I feel like the Texans thought they won the game at halftime.

This team is not good in the second half.

Has to be. I also think that was the reason because they also had Juice at C. Had to put the 2nd rounder in his position rather than the 6th rounder who played better than him.

I mean to be fair, you came here to troll, and now you're upset ppl are trolling you back? The respect goes both ways.. but I do appreciate the nice words after a tough loss.

There's plenty to complain about (and I have) -- and the botched PI is one of them.

Yeah I feel you. The one dude only complaining about the call and acting like the Texans share 0% of the blame is mainly who I was talking about.

Frustrating game to watch. The second half demons are something the Texans have to fix. It’s inexcusable to not be able to do anything offensively in the second half of all the games they played (minus the patriots game). They’re playing to not lose and reminds me of the kubiak days. When you’re up, you keep doing what was working and go for the jugular. Stop letting teams hang around. Maybe that’s the struggle the Texans need this season so it can be addressed from this point on.

They don't miss the call if the unies had yellow trim and an arrow instead of horns. In the blink of an eye, it looked like the backer deflected it and contact followed.

Tell us who this "one dude" is.

There's more than one dude complaining about the call.... and nobody is acting like the Texans share 0% of the blame.

I've been calling the Texans pretenders since Week 3 when they got eviscerated at 10,000 Lakes.

The refs botched call added fuel to the suck fire.

I thought the same thing after we beat the Bills weeks ago. But, even during the first 5 games with all our top receivers and a new RB we only got a couple of touchdowns a game, and played some weak teams. That was even worse than our first 5 games last year. I have never felt confident in a win all year long. I just have no confidence in Slowik and our offensive line. I didn't last year, and I still don't.

I would guess he's talking about me? I just never like when the refs decide the game, doesn't matter the context. I also don't believe in the whole "oh we didn't score in the 2nd half for the first 28 minutes so we don't deserve to win". If that's the case, just end the game after however many minutes are required before you stop deserving the win. Same garbage i hear about the rockets "27 missed 3s", just have a rule where if you "miss" X amount, the game ends and you lose. It was as egregious of a missed call as you can get, he tackled the WR while the ball was in the air. Maybe it would have been incomplete, but let the players decide the outcome.
