    We knew Tari was impactful
But I bet Stone didn’t anticipate him to be, arguably, the team’s most important player.

looking at the best role salary’s(Draymond, KCp, Aaron Gordon), Bruce Brown, the average salary for that group seem to be 23 million. Jsut off naturally ability, his ceiling may be the highest of that group(out side of Draymond facilitating abilities). It possible Eason might be able to command 30 million. He has the highest PER on this team for regular rotation players.

I thought last season after the surgery that Stone should’ve tried to put an offer o the table while Tari might’ve be been feeling career vulnerability because of the leg injury . He would’ve been the biggest steal in the league probably if he could’ve got Tari for around 17 million aav or Dillon’s salary

I own 100 shares of Tari stock

I read a post last night that said he's a role player because he missed a dunk.

I don’t like the Corey Brewer comparison… he’s more than an energy player. He much more skilled than Corey although I loved Brewer coming out of Florida and wanted him on Houston

Nope, Jabari has played his way out of getting paid. Tari is getting that loot. That's how that works.

No because he would just get the money from another core 7 piece he's outplaying (e.g. Jabari).

No. Tari isn't eligible for an extension until the coming offseason. I think Tari could force the Rockets into making some tough choices before they want, but it won't be Tari playing too well causing the Rockets to lose Tari.

Tari is arguably the best performing player on the roster, you dump others to keep him if necessary.... so no, he's not playing his way out of Houston.

Every player on this team is long term trade bait until we get something resembling an alpha scorer.

I was hoping Green or Sengun would take a step forward towards that role, but no dice so far. It's obviously not Tari's fault that they've disappointed, but you don't compete for titles with a group of high effort good players.

The Rockets won't let Eason walk for nothing, but as for whether he's here long term depends on other players.

You assume That Stone and Timan feel the same way as you do. They might feel you only pay stars the star bucks. They might feel Tari ain’t a star.

If you could redraft Tari would go before Bari, that's not a knock on Bari. If Tari can finish the year healthy he is in for a pay day.

It’s not that simple. Stone isnt going to want keep handling over 30 million aav to players that aren’t stars and can’t consistently carry a team. He new a
True bonafide franchise player(Harden, Hakeem, Francis, TMac, Yao, even a Artest). So far nobody has proven to be that on this roster, currently, which is why the Cam demotion really bothers me.

And that’s a big if because he keep landing badly the most recent games. It reminds me of Embidd awkward landings. Hollins has made references to it more and more recently

You pay your best players, currently Tari is outplaying everyone else. Why assume the entire FO are complete morons?

In a redraft Tari is taken before Bari and Sengun is taken before Green.

Let's just be happy we got those 2 steals

I don’t think it’s that cut and dry. Tari has been on of the naysayers but I don’t think Tari is the best player on a championship team. And I love Tari. Hes my favorite Rocket currently

FVV should take a paycut as a back-up or leave next season and Brooks will eventually be traded or let go too so we should be good.
