“We don’t set out to win an ugly game, but in this league every game seems to come down to the final possession”

Look Demeco, it’s true that a lot of games are close. Even games where teams lead by 10+ at one point, but it is actually ****ing possible to blow teams out.

The mindset is just flawed. It’s ****ing flawed to its core.

This is literally BOB “it’s an 8-8 league” just propped up and packaged in better wrapping paper with bows and glitter.

Here's an idea, DeMeco. Tell your buddy Bobby to actually scheme up an offense that can pick up easy yards, and lets your QB to get into a rhythm. CJ looks completely out of sync right now, and it's due to the fact that Slowik's offense literally lights 1st and 2nd downs on fire. Let your QB actually get into a rhythm for once, instead of exclusively calling either predictable running plays or long and drawn out passing plays.

I think it’s more complicated than that because technically if he came down before the endzone and then traveled into the endzone it would then be a safety right? So they just call it down where you landed?

I think you know what I meant by "creative", I wasn't talking about halfback passes and the statue of liberty and ****

I'm honestly tired of DeMeco's coach talk with no real action. He's too loyal to his coaching staff.

I thought it was pretty creative when tank dell was wide open in the end zone and CJ threw it to him 5 seconds later, and made sure to do his best Schaub impression.

But yes Slowik has been **** and his offense can’t execute basic ****ing plays like screens, quick outs, etc.

Everyone on the offense sucks ass right now and we are hoping Nico Collins can come back and be our savior.

There’s plenty of blame to go around.
Bobby, CJ, Oline, Receivers dropping balls, missed calls, run game was bad today.

    Just overall bad play

Woah! That was close! But the Third and Longs achieved their goal!! At least they know how to do it the right way (wink wink Rockets).

This game was both on Stroud and Slowik, but you can't fire your franchise QB.

I also like it when a receiver gets creative and tries to catch the ball with his facemask

Hard not to put this game on CJ, that’s for sure.

    Coaching doesn’t help though.

“hey CJ go out there and be perfect and convert 8 third downs so we can move the ball and kick a fg”

but also, throw the ****ing ball to Tank Dell

Done with Bobby. Any decent OC would draw up short pass plays when QB starts to struggle. Needed quick routes to get CJ back in rhythm, and no those terrible screen plays don’t count.

Even that simple ass pass to St Brown on that 3rd down conversion at the end. It was so freaking easy. Imagine if we called that when we had the ball.
