That no PI call has Vegas name written all over it. But it's our fault for leaving the game in position where Vegas can affect the outcome.

This is the part of the season where they sweep Jax, (2) vs Tennessee, Dallas, Dolphins to get to 11 wins and it still won’t mean a ****….

Because Slowik has no idea what's going on in a game, he can't get it through his thick head that Detroit had stopped the run. Completely. So in that moment you are wasting plays running the ball, yes, you are running the clock...but you need first downs so that Detroit runs through their timeouts...THEN you run the ball.

But in Slowik's mind you play as cowardly as possible and hope to get a 58 yd FG to win the game even if it leaves the other team time enough to score a game winning TD on a broken play or something.

Agree with all of that except Ryans. I don’t think he enjoys losing like this. They are going to recognize the issue with the offense and offensive coordinator, but they’re not going to do anything about it until the offseason. As we’ve grown accustomed to saying in Houston about NFL football for the last 50+ years, maybe next year…

Shaq Mason was horrible tonight. Scruggs was bad but he's given it pass due to playing another position that's not as natural position. I don't know what the **** Howard was doing out there. Tunsil needs to get back those Pro Bowl awards. He ****ing sucks.

How much did the texans have to win by for it to count? Every game that's played with enough bad calls, you can flip the result. The Texans DID do enough to win, the refs decided not to let them. It is what it is

yeah yeah refs could’ve called that and bailed us out. Or we could have not been complete ****ing morons and not been in that situation to begin with. Absolutely unforgivable. This team is an absolute joke. They deserve all that hate. They deserve fans showing up late and getting outshined by opposing fans in their own stadium. They deserve to be dismissed by the media pundits. They deserve to not be taken seriously, bc they aren’t a serious team. They deserve to be referred to as an expansion franchise, cast aside, relegated to Sunday noon starts for the rest of eternity. They deserve to be playing at 8am against the panthers in Germany. An absolute abomination of a performance.

The Packers are "going" nowhere. Gonna get one and done'd in the Playoffs (if you make it there). Texans are still division champs this season. End of the day both teams are going home early. Except at least the Texans won something, which is their own division.

He is missing his top 2 receivers and the game was there for the taking . Not tripping. And the interior lined improved by lightyears. One sack came from a pseudo scramble. One was from Mason being stuck in cement. Another from Tunsil staying in the game after the ankle. It slowed him down.

I mean if you muster just one effing score in the 2nd half you win the damn game. Slowik needs to get fired, the 2nd half futility is just terrible

Adjustments are really overrated in a game like this one. This was simply a matter of one team being completely unable to execute a single thing they needed to in the 2nd half, and the other team being lucky enough to be in a position to take advantage of it in the end. This Texans team is mentally and physically weak on the offensive side of the ball, and they are frankly a reflection of their OC. Everything, including Stroud regressing to mediocrity during this stretch, falls at his feet. Slowik is not deserving of this job, and is destroying any chance the Texans might have of competing for anything meaningful this season. It's absolutely infuriating knowing that DeMeco is loyal to a fault, and is going to stick with this sack of **** for the remainder of this season even though we all know what that means for our playoff aspirations.

Imagine knowing this defense intercepted Goff 5 mother****ing times, and came away with ZERO POINTS in the 2nd half ahead of time. I'm at a complete loss for words at this point. There isn't a single other NFL team that should hang their heads lower than this Texans team right now, and that's including the Bears and Jags. Neither of those teams has the talent, or had the opportunity that this team had tonight. **** you Bobby, you absolute clown. And honestly, CJ, you gotta do some soul searching too. You're better than the performances you're putting out there this season.

I never seen an offensive lineman try to strip sack his own quarterback.

No he doesn’t enjoy losing but he would have been so happy about a grind it out 26-23 win, vs just pounding the other team into oblivion. I firmly believe he prefers these close games where we show “heart” and “grind it out”.

Also, I bet if you looked it up the analytics say go for it on 4th and 4 instead of a 58 yard field goal (which is likely lower percentage than getting a 1st down on 4th and 4). And that doesn't even take into account how much time and how many TO's the Lions would have even if you make the FG. Boneheaded decision.
