How the **** do you lose with Goff throwing 5 ****ing ints?!!?????!!!!!???!?!!???!?!?!????!?!!???!??!?!?!???!???????!??!?!??!?!
What? I’m saying WE shouldn’t have let it be that close. We lost that game. Period. It wasn’t from one missed call or even a couple.
I think the defense did their job and was hoping the offense can produce. In the end, they got tired and couldn't continue the run stuffing defense. Gibbs and Montgomery were nothing in the first half and most of the second half.
We should have passed on 2nd down instead of running with Mixon. We should have gone for it in 4th and 4 instead of relying on a Fairbairn 58 yarder. The reason is even if he made that, the Lions had plenty of time to go down the field and tie. A 1st down would have virtually guaranteed a victory for us, even more than Fairbairn making the FG at that time.
Well and you definitely should have gone for the 4th and 4. Even if fairbairn makes it they have tons of time and 2 timeouts. So idiotic on every level The absolute worst part is I think Demeco enjoyed this game. “That’s football. Tough, physical.” “Gotta grind it out” mother ****ers you had a 23-7 lead. You throw a pick first play of the second half and immediately intercept it back. This is a clown show organization and demeco hasn’t done a damn thing to change that.
I still don't understand why the challenge flag is so restricted. You have two. Why can you only challenge certain things when games can come down to whether a ref messes up or not? We've seen entire team seasons end because of bad calls, it changes if you allow coaches to challenge non-calls.
DeMeco literally called a timeout when the guy went out of bounds.....I mean..... And that missed PI call was bullshit, they called holding on the Texans all game long killing drives. DeMeco and Ime are close - just guys that get you to play hard, but their lack of innovation or a working system is death to championship contention. DD
We were averaging under 2 yards per carry but still ran the ball 4 out of 8 plays on the final drive. So many series died because we ran plays we knew likely weren't going to be successful.
Texans are the WORST second half football team in the NFL. Please explain to me how running the same unsuccessful running play over and over makes sense?
What gets me is the incredible arrogance that the Texans organization has - they always disappoint and ultimately lose in a painful and embarrassing manner… but the arrogance never leaves them… at least most bad organizations know they are bad.
I'm not even mad, just mildly disappointed. I don't have any real expectations for this team anymore this season, I've felt that way for a while. This coaching staff just isn't good enough. Literally every week, every damn week, we get significantly outplayed after halftime adjustments are made. You can't overcome that when you play good teams.
But the call DIRECTLY flipped the winner. How you can look at that call not being made as not a big deal is mind blowing
The Lions saw St. Brown lined up against a linebacker, so it was an easy route for him to catch that pass.
