It's honestly just funny at this point that Sengun only played 30 minutes. We have all the excuses about being benched for inadequate performances, defensive mistakes, etc. But what's the excuse today? How do you play him 30 minutes in that game. Almost choked it.
We won the game Sengun did outstanding, we switched out for offense and defense toward the end which made sense. It was a team win not necessarily about one player succeeding. Enjoy the team W
I actually think the reason why his defense looks below average at times is because his frequent mental lapses. He loses his focus on defense quite often but when he locks in he is definitely at least average. Maybe he should take B12.
Maybe Ime sat him because we have a game tomorrow? Idk Sengun is miles away our best player and he should be playing the most. Perhaps is conditioning or recovering from last year some? He and Tari are the reason we won today. 27 and 10 and not even allowed to find a rhythm.
Ime is like bizarro Thibs. If Sengun or Amen play more than 30 minutes he thinks their legs are gonna fall off.
