Um, not sure anyone cares about the topic, but I honestly don't think we can hang this L on Kamala. She ran as good a campaign as she could. (EDIT: no particular order) 1. Economic perceptions by working class folks 2. -isms, take your pick. She was going against many of them. 3. Mammal stuff. Trump always looks more confident and is a lot taller. 4. Firehose of coordinated social media to galvanize right wing votes and splinter the left. Super effective. EDIT: Joe dropping out way too late in the game. SMDH. The problem is a democrat party one. They represent social issues and thats their brand. A vote for kamala was a vote for four years of trans, DEI, and abortion debates. People wanted economic, immigration, and foreign affairs policies which they correlate with Republicans. Trump's most effective ad was the ' shes for they/them . Trumps for you' ad. It reminded everyone her and the dems priorities are social issues. Even in post election analysis, all dems can do is scream 'racism and sexism' because their brand is identity politics.
