The MAGA brand is pure identity politics and supremacy. We all know that but people and especially the media cannot call a spade a spade. Even the Latinos and black men who voted for Trump are doing it not for the 4 dollar eggs they think they’ll get vs 5 dollar eggs under Kamala. They want to be in the in-crowd and think they are better than those who are going to be targeted in an autocratic regime. Yes some are just misinformed beyond belief but the vast majority of Trump supporters obviously believe this white supremacy argument but just don’t want to be pariahs in their social circles so they need that argument about 5 dollar eggs to stand behind… which looks even more ridiculous if you could see them pull up to the store in their jacked up truck or Tesla or whatever.
Egg prices aren’t going to come down significantly and Trump’s immigration policies will reduce agricultural labor which will raise the prices even more. On top of that cuts to the FDA and other regulatory agencies handling food safety will mean that things like salmonella outbreaks are more likely in eggs and other foods.

Off course. But didn't we live thru this as well. wasn't every one who supported or voted democrat 'woke'? Is it possible they'll did everything to prove it ?? It is just two side of coin in an argument.
Yeah which is why if the Republicans want to legitimately win elections they’ll reverse course quick on gutting the “deep state” because they will realize quickly how politically unpopular it makes them when they gut these agencies that actually help them politically by avoiding disasters like major disease outbreaks or collapse of the financial markets etc. Trump doesn’t have to run for re-election but other people do underneath him in the party. So either they do just cancel elections all together which he now has the ability to do per the Supreme Court and do wild sh*t that’ll get Americans killed and ruin us economically, or we see a Trump presidency that does a few crazy things at the start, settles down after first 100 days and lets the deep state just do their thing, and on the back end it’s just a corrupt grift fest. The big question is elections moving forward. You guys think I’m crazy here but yeah I mean it’s perfectly legal now for Trump to use dictatorial power by law with elections. If you think he’s not going to use powers that he has because of his deep respect for the sanctity for democracy than I have a bridge to sell you. Doesn’t mean I think it’s most like he does that but if he wants to truly enact MAGA autocratic policy than they sort of have to do that if they want to stay in power democratically.

I am on the fence on how the deportations will work at first, I was like, oh it's just a promise for the base, but he did just hire a "border czar" and looks like he is ready to go.......I now they have said they will go after criminals first, like the ones in prison or do we know of criminals who are maybe waiting for trials and are out, not sure. And then how do they round up the folks who are doing lawn service or working at a meat plant. His billionaire friends require cheap labor in some of their companies and he would want to piss them off, not to mention the cost. I just wonder if they do this for awhile and then with no fox faux coverage kind of end it...........are they going to do random raids at my local Home Depot and get 10 at a time?

Does this include the 46% of hispanic/latino voters, the 39% of asian voters, or the 13% of black voters who voted for him? Trump was down 1 point for white voters vs the 2020 election, but up "bigly" on other races (+1 on black voters, +14 hispanic voters, +5 asian voters), but you're going to blame white supremacists for him winning the election? I get the argument that they were "deceived" on the economy topic, but couldn't they have been convinced due to the last 4 years? Or couldn't it be that Kamala just ran a bad campaign? Why does it HAVE to boil down to white supremacy? You've got places like Vermont (90%+ white) that went heavy for Kamala, but then a state like California which is majority non-white which had way more support for Trump this election than the last, it wasn't because of the white supremacy boogie man. There's got to be other things at play, but focusing on who is the closest thing to a nazi probably isn't going to win a lot of votes.
Do you think it's OK for that industry to be able to exploit migrant workers with lower wages, no benefits and not have to follow the policies of other companies because their employees are scared to raise the red flag when something is going wrong? I've always said that all politicians talk about solving immigration but none will, because their buddies in Corporations like the cheap labor. I'm not for open borders, but I am for holding those companies accountable. They should be fined for employing illegal immigrants. And I am OK with paying more for fruit and eggs or whatever if it means that people get to be treated equally.
