Someone at FEMA needs to go to prison for denying aid to hurricane victims because of the victims' political leanings. That is awful. This should be prosecuted as a hate crime.

I wonder if this sentiment held by right wingers is based on the fact that most right wingers when they express talking points or debate a topic like lets say CRT or trans care they aren't sincerely expressing concerns and aren't invested in these topics in a sincere manner outside the pure concept of annoying people they find annoying.

"The left" when they latch on to a issue, it's a issue they sincerely deeply care about organically. The same people defending Palestinians today, 10 years ago were shouting about Apartheid in the region. It's because they actually care about these topics rather than some Republican strategist or some Peter Theil funded operation spamming fresh new topics out of thin air like CRT and right wing men latch on to these topics when they didn't know this topic existed a week back.

Basically what I am saying is a lot of right wing grievances are insincere. The right didn't magically all of a sudden care about the sanctity of women's sports. The right doesn't magically care about the safety of the lgbtq community when a Islamic extremist shoots up a gay night club. No, they concern troll these issues because in these instances the right loves dividing non white groups and pitting them agaisnt each other. You see this with right wing media attempts to put Black people and Asians against each other. You see it with their fake care of women's sports to divide feminists and trans activists. You see it with Palestinians being pitted against feminists and lgbtq community. This is one of the favorite past times of western right wing politics. You saw this tactic used with European colonialism first, and then the modern right adopted the tactic.

 

Not really buddy, in real life you can disagree with the Republicans (I've done it plenty of times since I'm not a hardcore Republican myself), when it comes to the point that we're just not gonna agree on something, it'll just be like "hey we'll agree to disagree", and we'll move on to talk about sports or something, nothing changes. With y'all as soon as the disagreement happens, the whole vibe changes and it becomes weird. It's like y'all get triggered
