Don't blame this on Russia. Sure they have some psy-ops and twitter bots, however the guy that owns the freaking company is a raging fascist. This is on the American billionaire class.
that’s the type of stuff they should’ve been fear mongering on providing examples of all the “oops, I didn’t think I’d be the one getting deported” stories that came out during the previous Trump term instead of fear mongering about Democracy and Russia because clearly nobody gives a fck the fear mongering doesn’t even need to be real like what they did with the Haitian immigrants and litter boxes in the bathroom once those tariffs kick in, hammer home all the increased prices not by breaking down what tariffs are, explaining why they caused it, and detailing what you’d do to combat…just every single day “these things cost X amount at end of Biden’s term, and now they cost Y” until it’s a part of a voter’s psyche set up a propaganda network using some of these independent creators and social media people because CNN, MSNBC, and the rest are obsessed with both siding everything and sane washing all the GOP nonsense/not even reporting on it so many people have no clue the things republicans vote against in Congress
But what if that doesn't happen??? I get what you are saying... Now that the Republicans have what they have always wanted the minority vote.. What if they do come thru??? If so, the democrats want win anything for a long time.... So right now the Republicans have 1.5 years to do something and if they do it right, it's game over for the Democrats. This is from David Axelrod “I do have concerns about the way the Democratic Party relates to working-class voters in this country,” Axelrod told broadcaster Anderson Cooper on CNN. “The only group that Democrats gained with in the election on Tuesday was white college graduates. And among working-class voters, there was a significant decline.” If the Democrats don't wake up change, the Blue Team is done for... T_Man
You know I watched Fox News Tuesday night off and on for about 3 hours for their election coverage. That was the first time I watched it since November 2020.
The left has access to all the same media organs as the right (even more so with the broadcast networks, NYT, WaPo, AP). The nightly network news casts and morning shows still get massive ratings and are all severely anti-Trump. What the left needs to win is to silence their opposition. That was the whole reason for the "misinformation/disinformation" narrative (or even further back, the Fake News meme that Trump stole from them), big tech censorship, deplatforming of Trump, Alex Jones, NY Post, etc.
Convicted Felon Trump makes MSM money. They both siderism what Trump said in the campaign and sane washed most of it. What the Left does not have is an extremely disciplined Propaganda New Outlet, that report propaganda as fact based news.
I think this was a main issue... We all know who and what Trump is, but Kamala and the dem Party was doing the same as you... Calling Trump all of these names and all that was doing was fueling the fire. They should have been more focused on the voters and giving straight, transparent answers.. Even with the town halls that Kamala was doing she was more focused on degrading Trump instead of answering the questions... Like when the question was on the economy.. Take the question head on, don't divert... Something like... "Yes right now things are tough, but things would have been tougher if we had not put in place some of the policies that we did. Everyone needs to understand that when a president puts policies in place, some of those policies don't have any affect until a year or 2 after there 4 years has ended. So now my job is take everything a step further and make updates and changes to those policies." I mean come at the people and understand you cannot and will not be able to please everyone... T_Man
LOL the leftist echo chamber still assuring each other that they were right. Keep pursuing insane policies. You will keep losing.
Who exactly do you think is paying $30 for fajitas and $15 for a margarita at El Tiempo? There is no greater partnership than rednecks and Latinos!
Nah, if the economy is not fixed in 4 years (and cutting taxes to the rich never helps the middle class. Hasn't in like 50 years) the GOP will be sitting in this same position. Not sure if you've followed American politics for long but the party in power always has a limited amount of time before everyone just blames them for whatever is wrong and then votes them out. Just look at the last 50 years of politics, who controlled the senate, house, and executive, and you'll see them swapping back and fourth every cycle. The GOP is not going to have all three branches come 2026. The house will likely atleast be flipped just based on history alone. You guys are way too confident when this was just a vote against inflation. Latinos were not even voting for immigration, check the exit polls, in fact the majority were against his immigration stance while many simply think it won't apply to them, their main issue was the economy. Not trans kids, not woke stuff, none of that stuff you think was this big mover. People live paycheck to paycheck and are pissed about it. Giving the rich more money, getting rid of benefits, getting rid of healthcare...mark my words, that same map you're seeing now will instead be blue in 2028. PA is a great example of this, it has MANY counties that literally voted Obama, Trump, Biden, Trump. They are voting for someone to bring back the actual middle class and will continue to do so until someone does it. Trump ain't gonna be that guy.
Trump is like a rogue candidate for GOP.......he is successful but he is not the normal GOP candidate. Trump is better at Elections itself than being President so you can almost pencil in a small failure.
I agree with you on much of the post, of course people care most about their livelihood. Your conclusion that people's lives won't get better in that regard under Trump will hopefully turn out to be wrong.
This is a fantastic point too. Trump is truly teflon, the point about latinos is a great example of it if you look at the polls. Latinos are lukewarm on anti-immigration stances. Like 70% of them think undocumented immigrants should eventually become citizens, which is not the GOPs stance OR Trumps. They want to deport dreamers for instance and end birthright citizenship. Any yet, despite this being a big part of his campaign, he really won that demographic. Nothing Trump says or does is ever used against him successfully. The only reason he lost is because of the chaos of his last year in office, BLM protests, Covid, and then Jan 6 and the election denial...none of it sticks to him. Trump supporters will call others pedos and talk about Democrats being on the Epstein list and then completely ignore Trump's friendship with the guy. Long story short, he's unique in this way. Teflon Don, that is true, but in 2028 who can replace him? I don't think any other GOP candidate we know of now could have done 10% of what Trump has done and win any election.
Do you think Latin and Latin X population is huge and compelling? Kamala should have tried harder at convincing the White Female group and the Asian Americans and the Faith Groups. Because the White Males, there was never any chance at that.
News Person: What are going to do to help the everyman economically? Kamala: They eating the dogs; they eating the cats. Trump never ever gave a substantive answer to a policy question. But somehow Kamala must ... and do that exceptionally well ... is a double standard. The Ds need to find out how they can message the low info voters, so they can compete head to head to the Rs, who have solved that issue. The low info voters in focus groups can verbatim repeat R talking points.
@JayGoogle is not an emotional democrat for a change. Cool posts, I disagree with some of the points, but that doesn't mean they're not legitimate
All that is QFT, but I'm staying engaged. The Lincoln Project, specifically, has admitted they're just a successful fundraising scheme at a basic level. They preach to the choir and actually make pretty good bank with their cute ads. Sure, they hate Trump, but they also see an easy way to siphon money from angry libs, LOL.
Well, and the tons of people who didn't want to vote: FAFO. Sit home and definitely get things you'd never want. Hell only 49% of San Francisco eligible voters showed up, and we have a lot of important local things to vote on.
