Who is this clown? If these are the Democratic strategists surrounding Democratic presidential campaigns, I understand now how they fail so epically vs Trump. Learning the wrong lessons as usual because the wrong lessons are often self serving and deflect from self reflection.

She is a Democrat strategist.. That means she gets paid for this **** at a professional level yet doesn't understand right wing media infrastructure and how its utilized to hunt out very esoteric academic concepts discussed by people seeking very specific higher education discussing niche topics and spam them into social media algorithmic feeds and youtube and twitch influencers who are paid handsomely to spam content attacking these topics by reducing these very niche esoteric terms and ideas to their most bad faith form and claim these beliefs are why your games suck, women don't want to touch you and you have this deep pit of emptiness where you lack a sense of purpose.

This is a plague occurring right in front of us with isolated young men who are detached from their local communities and just have online communities learning how the world operates through Stephen Crowder and Jordan Peterson and the fanbase that comes with those influencers.

Whatever the Democrats actually care about is irrelevant to what the right wing media infrastructure is telling millions of young men what Democrats care about by doing things like selective edits, selective reporting and just often flat out misinformation.

Does she not understand the concept of isolated media bubbles? And this is her job? What is the point of her job at this point?

conservative whites economically and socially quarantined tax paying, law-abiding black Americans for a century-and-a-half, built the educational, university, hospital and housing networks with explicit language forbidding and excluding us in their founding documents. conservative whites conditioned themselves and there children to the point of not wanting us in and organically excluding us from neighborhoods, schools, retail establishments or as work colleagues for three generations (and counting) after the courts and legislature finally got around to acknowledging our right to be there. conservative whites "gaslit" blacks into feeling like guests and immigrants in our own house despite being here longer than most of you. Democrats,the only party that consistently supports infrastructure development, systemic financial and commercial oversight and domestic humans rights, don't need to "trick" any of us to keep us around as long half the country is peopled by human garbage like you who would rather nominate and elect a fascist fraudster than acknowledge any aspect of black's agency or sense of belonging here.

As someone whose parents immigrated from China, has even worked there for a few years and talked to a lot of people there, I can tell you if China was allowed to vote tomorrow, they'd vote for the CCP and be extremely ecstatic about it. They believe the CCP is providing them a better life than any other form of government in the world. Because they see Americans talk about LGBT and it sickens them and they're glad they have a government that promote traditional values. They see Americans have shootings and they are glad their government outlaw guns so there are no murders every night. They see Americans bicker amongst themselves and they are glad that they live in harmony with each other as they never see such ugliness in their clean online communities where disgusting comments are deleted. And they say that America has failed its people, and that China is the future of the world. They see news of issues with food safety, corrupt politicians, police brutality, etc. and they don't see nearly such amount of these news in China, and they know that's cause Communism is simply a better form of government that protect its citizens as opposed to capitalism of the west that degrades its citizens.

And as someone who understand the allure of such form of government, I also understand why people are drawn to Trump, much more than a typical Democrat.

 

I guess we'll see yet again whether this strife as a result of freedom and transparency is a feature of our democracy and not a bug.

Next I agree with you that if there was free elections the CCP would win overwhelmingly. Mostly because they delivered in the promises that Deng Xiaoping made but also because they are fed a steady diet of nationalist propaganda. You are right to that they point to the chaos in the US and frequently cite they as a reason that there system is better.

I have no doubt that the people in the PRC are happy this week that the US has chosen to elect a divisive conman who again. I also have little doubt they are already preparing sweetheart deals for Trump family and Musk’s business to curry favor.

 

These leftist have completely lost their mind- I think they need therapy and psychological help at this point to cope... Meanwhile, he won the vote both popular and electoral . He increased his minority vote- power to the people !

 

Subject to change, but at this point, I think the problem with the Dems is that they really wanted to have a rigid, top-down controlled system that functions for the purpose of furthering the glorification of the individuals and institutions already in power. And so they squashed any progressive populist tendencies for the past 10+ years.

They actually had the counter to Trump's message before Trump's message even gained solid footing, but they silenced it. They had coalitions of working class people, of Latinos, of "bros," etc., but instead of embracing that, they chose to insult, shame, and lecture those coalitions. Those people either left the party or just stopped engaging.

Now, un-****ing-believably, there is David Brooks in the NYT saying "hey, maybe the Dems should have a Sanders-type movement?" Uh, you did. You did. It was there. It was winning. You killed it. You killed it dead. Repeatedly. Brooks himself was a part of doing so. It's over now. That time has passed. Now the Trumpsters control the tone of the country and the Dems have to adjust to sound more like them.

Dems had a class-first message before the Reps did, but the Establishment Dems killed it. (Reps of course tried to kill Trump's 2016 populist message, but they are less organized and so they failed.)

As a result, the Reps are just a party of different coalitions of different grievances*, and the Dems are the party of "actually, everything is fine, and if you don't agree then you're just stupid and/or hateful."

Anyway, I wouldn't put this L on the "far left" or anything like that. I would put it on the Establishment Dems.

*Many of which are completely contradictory, btw.

I just want to make sure white maga supporters feel comfortable when they express how much migrants poison the blood of our country. I've sat back and watched you guys fling sht at each other for 4 election cycles now. One side wins the other thinks its the end. The rich laugh and toast to your panic. Then just about when that side feels all is lost they get a cleverly timed pick me up so as not to have them completely downtrodden and able to rise up.
