THe data isn't fully in yet but if you weigh "that" vs. the facts that real estate & everything else is now 20-30% more expensive than it was 4 years ago (as opposed to 10% which is our more recent norm), the highly-related housing shortage, and the fact that the corporate/billionaire class keeps getting better and better at algorithmically extracting value from Americans and enshittifying their products (and therfore our lives) - I'm betting on the latter being much more dispositive in terms of "getting things back to the way they were"
I'm not disputing the economic issues either. I also find that it is insane that so many in America think the Republicans are going to be the ones to finally take on "Big insertevilcorporationnamehere"
It was crazy for them to even think that Trump has not been part of the Establishment the last decades.......just because he had a sweet tone with the people. Or they don't care, either way scary.
