Most Trump voters cannot articulate a single policy of his or why they even vote for him aside from superficial characteristics. Hell, Donald himself cannot articulate his own policies. An arrogant assumption that people would just vote against Trump, with no simple, actionable plan for the economy, is what drove the Democrat Party ticket to failure. Trump had no plan either, but he at least said he would 'fix it', and that's enough for a lot of people. People either didn't vote at all or went the other way from the previous administration which is blamed for your dollar being worth much less than it used to be. You now see the result.

Listen to people, seek to understand. That's the path to cooperation and a W. Sitting around b****ing about 'the people' isn't going to get you anywhere, in fact, it's going to alienate people. If everyone is the *******....you're really the *******.

1. Democrats do not have an answer to the Fox News echo, Twitter and YouTube echo chambers. MAGA dumbasses cannot tell the difference between fact and fiction, and they don’t care anymore. The risk is that independents and swing voters get sucked into that messaging vortex. Until there is an answer or counter to that, democrats will run at a big disadvantage. With Musk in MAGA land (or controlling MAGA land), that vortex will get deeper and deeper.

2. Democrats failed at messaging. When struggle to pay for food, they do not want to eat word salad. Kamala wasn’t a strong enough candidate to overcome the inflation problem. Don’t know if someone else could have, we will never know.

3. Democrats need to think hard at nominating a populist personality, like Fetterman. Doesn’t hurt that he could carry weight in PA.

This is BS. There are only 2 parties. It can only go one direction. In 4 years or 8 years when it inevitably switches back does that mean the Republicans did awful and the Democrats will be the saviors? Because it would be the same exact thing.

Being progressive is cool but you need to cover the basic needs first and then take 5% of your resources and tackle those communities.
