    “Eradicate Climate Change References”

The project’s experts outline regulatory and policy changes that future political appointees should prepare for in a Republican administration.

One video, titled “Hidden Meanings: The Monsters in the Attic,” is a 50-minute discussion of supposed left-wing code words and biased language that future appointees should be aware of and root out. In that video, Kozma says that U.S. intelligence agencies have named climate change as an increasingly dire threat to global stability, which, she says, illustrates how the issue “has infiltrated every part of the federal government.”

She then tells viewers that she sees climate change as merely a cover to engage in population control. “I think about the people who don’t want you to have children because of the” — here she makes air-quotes — “impact on the environment.” She adds, “This is part of their ultimate goal to control people.”

A review of the training videos shows that 29 of the 36 speakers have worked for Trump in some capacity — on his 2016-17 transition team, in the administration or on his 2024 reelection campaign. The videos appear to have been recorded before the resignation two weeks ago of Paul Dans, the leader of the 2025 project, and they are referenced on the project’s website. The Heritage Foundation said in a statement at the time of Dans’ resignation that it would end Project 2025’s policy-related work, but that its “collective efforts to build a personnel apparatus for policymakers of all levels — federal, state, and local — will continue.

Hidden-camera video shows Project 2025 co-author discussing his secret work preparing for a second Trump term

Project 2025 co-author Russell Vought talks Trump in secret video | CNN Politics

Last month, Russell Vought sat in a five-star Washington, DC, hotel suite, bowing his head in prayer with two men he thought were relatives of a wealthy conservative donor.

Vought, one of the key authors of Project 2025, a right-wing blueprint for a second Trump term, expected the meeting would help his think tank secure a substantial contribution. For nearly two hours, he talked candidly about his behind-the-scenes work to prepare policy for former President Donald Trump, his expansive views on presidential power, his plans to restrict p*rnography and immigration, and his complaints that the GOP was too focused on “religious liberty” instead of “Christian nation-ism.”
    ..

Trump has publicly rejected Project 2025 as Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign has sought to tie him to some of the plan’s most extreme proposals. But in private, Vought said that those disavowals were merely “graduate-level politics.”

Vought said his group, the Center for Renewing America, was secretly drafting hundreds of executive orders, regulations, and memos that would lay the groundwork for rapid action on Trump’s plans if he wins, describing his work as creating “shadow” agencies. He claimed that Trump has “blessed” his organization and “he’s very supportive of what we do.”

    ...

He said that conservatives should push to have debates over whether to allow mosques to be built in America’s downtowns, and whether Christian immigrants should be prioritized over those of other faiths – ideas that run contrary to First Amendment protections.

“I want to make sure that we can say we are a Christian nation,” Vought added later. “And my viewpoint is mostly that I would probably be Christian nation-ism. That’s pretty close to Christian nationalism because I also believe in nationalism.”

Instead of an unpopular new law banning all p*rnography, for example, Vought said that his group would propose “doing it from the back door” by making p*rnography websites legally liable if minors use them. That could lead p*rnography companies to stop doing business in states with those kind of laws, he suggested.

    ...

He argued that the commander-in-chief wasn’t limited by the Posse Comitatus Act, a nearly 150-year-old law that prevents federal troops from conducting civilian law enforcement except when authorized by law.

I'm guessing but I suspect it's a Nero Rome burning reference.
    Could be wrong.

... says some twitter influencers who are not going to be in the Trump Admin in any capacity.

I don't doubt that we're going to see some of Heritage Foundation's influence on Trump's policy, but Axios is (per usual) making a clickbait article on nothing at all substantial.

Stuff like this is why no party holds power for very long.

MAGA and Vance and Thiel and all of these guys really believe that America has bought into their political/social agenda and didn't vote for them because a hamburger was $20 when the other guy was in business.

The level of arrogance and self importance is staggering - and before someone gets defensive, or laughs too hard ---- MAGA isn't the first, nor the last. I remember when Obama won, some of those on the left believed that the American people bought into massive social change (they didn't and there were electoral consequences) - I Remember the Contract with America and Newt Gingrich claiming he knew what America wanted, and he was dumped on his ass ....... GWB did the same thing, and that led to Obama...

So go ahead - People like Stephen Miller, JD Vance.... Peter Thiel and Elon Musk ........ start implementing your socially oppressive - self Righteous BS and see what happens electorally.

It is like clockwork man.... had Trump won in 2020 - a Democrat would have been elected a few days ago in a blowout and no doubt they would have their own over the top agenda that would alienate Americans.

I'm down with statehood for Greenland for the natural resources and to get China out of there. And the simple fact that it would be a blue state, not a red state. Of course Greenland and Denmark would never agree, so its never going to happen.
