Again, I was referring to the stupidity of arguing on one hand that celebrities aren't competent enough to be taken seriously when they endorse a candidate and on the other hand supporting a rich, narcissistic, out-of-touch celebrity to serve as President of the United States.

Completely honest question: Would you like to address that point here, or would you rather we start a new thread and discuss it there?

I think it's an interesting aspect of the already interesting issue that you brought up here, and I'd sincerely like to get your thoughts on it. Good thread.

that's a little different. I was all pro-Harris until I saw that Kevin Sorbo was endorsing Trump. That's really what changed my mind. i mean, after all, he was Hercules.

Agreed, Hulk Hogan is much more in tune with foreign policy and economic theory.

No, but with the "working class", is my guess. But in principle, the same applies, which is why I did not limit the thread to one party's celebs only.

I am well aware my views fall way outside those of most people in the entertainment industry and I could not care less until they start spouting off their views in public. I then actively avoid anything they are involved with.

Before the Apprentice people knew Trump as a Playboy son of a real estate tycoon who got bankrupt from endovers like casinos.

The Apprentice was absolutely vital in reforming the image of Trump from playboy fail son to expert businessman. Even the creators of the show admit to this.

Bro how was it that I as a teenager in the early 2000s knee Trump to be a scumbag?

Do you know why comedy cartoon shows like the Simpsons had Trump being president the butt of the joke decades ago? Because the concept of such a fail son scumbag being president is absurd at face value. So obviously Trump being a scumbag was a well known thing as early as the 90s.

    Just as I thought.

Let the hate flow through you.

That’s never been a problem for you actually.

You could set a clock to your employment of ad hominem.

    Make a better argument!
