I love your go to talking point is "Trump says fascist things but he can't get them done so why do people care that a president says fascist things?"

I'm hopeful of our federal system making the impact of a Trump presidency felt less. For example as a Massachusetts resident I'm hopeful that the Trump admin will have little affect on me because there is a barrier of state level government in Massachusetts that isn't run by fascists that will mitigate the effects of a Trump presidency. When a fascist gets in power in a federal system like America, you just hope the smaller units of government at the state and local level have your back and aren't run by fascists also. I feel for minority groups in Texas as I'm sure the Trump and Abbot administrations will skip along holding arms together.

I'm more fearful of hateful people seeing how someone who says Hitlerian stuff like migrants poisoning the blood of a nation is popular enough to obtain the highest office in the land and being emboldened by it. I'm more fearful of the hate rhetoric that will come out of the presidential bully pulpit that will use migrants, Muslims, urban poor as scapegoats, creating more animosity towards these powerless groups in this country that can increase chances of incidents like the El Paso Walmart shooting.

You have no credible fear of any tangible negative effect at all from the Trump administration you can articulate for us and resort to drawing a specious connection between Trump being in office and maybe the odds of a far right mass shooting go up. Maybe.

I guess I need to appreciate how a president who uses hitlarian rhetoric about minority groups shouldn't impact my life in Massachusetts that much.

Why not just not put into power the dude who uses Hitlerian rhetoric about minority groups instead of playing this game of "Ya he galvanizes hate but hey our system of government limits the reach of fascists".

So at this point I wonder why do politicians say words at this point if they are meaningless? If a politician says Hitlerian stuff, the voting population should not raise concerns about it because HTM will get offended.

Hey if a politician says they want American adults the freedom to force themselves sexually upon children, we shouldn't bring that up as something to criticize the candidate with because he literally didn't implement his pro pedo beliefs into law/ successfully so now it isn't fair game to bring up he said that.

And the MAGA movement honing in on the concept of "migrants ruining this country" as a centerpiece of their campaign strategy in 2016 absolutely had a role to play in the El Paso mass shooting. The GOP's addiction to scapegoating migrants has resulted in many violent incidents towards Latin folks around the border

Funny thing is legal minorities are voting for Trump at record rates.

He's not Hitler or a fascist. The next 4 years will look a lot like the other 4 years of his POTUS. Prosperity for every race. That's why minorities voted for him at record rates.

You're from Massachusetts which explains a lot.

My son lives in Cambridge and my Uncle lives in Hampden. Beautiful part of the country this time of year. I was just up there 2 weeks ago for the regatta on the Charles. Never been to anything like that, had a great time. What part of Massachusetts do you live in?

Trump also inspired Timothy McVeighs bombing of the federal building in OKC in 1995 as well!

No, that was the Turner Diaries and Pat Buchanan nationalist fascist politics that influenced Mcveigh. Trump wasn't president until 2016

I hope the judge tosses him in jail in 5 days when sentencing happens... he would finally be held accountable for his actions

"Racist", "Misogynist ", "Nazis", "Fascist", "Existential Threat", "Wolf", cry all you want, eventually the masses tire of hearing it and ignore...and you get eaten. Or lose elections.

What the few losers in their leftist D&D bubble don't realize is that they are the extremist outliers, and that the vast majority of Americans have been sick of their BS for a while, despite mainstream media and rich celebs trying to indoctrinate everyone otherwise.

Like racist @DaDakota, rather than questioning where he went off track, they just double down (DD) on their idiocy and act like the country failed them and they are poor victims.
