Damn. We couldn't wear the Battle Red uniforms in a better matchup for good vibes? I would like to actually enjoy seeing the awesome red uniforms for a whole 60 minutes of football.
Trying to be optimistic but the Lions are a top 2 team in the NFL. We already embarrassed ourselves nationally. Let's see if these dudes have any fight in them.
A bunch of p*****s on this board. "No shot", "Bloodbath", "Blowout Loss", etc. The Lions are not a SUPERTEAM. They can be beaten.
Detroit already took care of the Astros. Texans and Rockets will have to step it up Sunday. I'll be on the floor for the Pistons/Rockets then shoot to a bar for the Texans. I just moved to Lansing and every time I wear my Houston gear, I get a ton of smack talk. Good people here so friendly banter.
I will watch, I will ROOT my ass off and yea, we COULD win this game but it will take our best performance of the season, and if were being honest some breaks along the way, not a shot against my team but just a week ago we got embarrassed by the Jets with 8 sacks and are one "change" potentially is a change at LG........I hope the young man to ball out, but lets not pretend he is anything more then a back up although Demeco can coach em up...............the million-dollar question is the O Line going to play like they want to prove they are good and give CJ time and will Slowik be able to adjust, if that happens then hell yea we have a chance, if the those answers are NO, then we will embarrassed on PT again although we will be the best looking team on the field. IMO if Nico doesn't practice today, they will hold him another week just to be safe, you cant just drop him in with no practice and expect the timing with CJ to be any good
I have zero interest during the week right now. Hard for me to get excited when the team just does nothing while every other contender is getting the pieces they need. Yes Nick did well this offseason, but needs are needs. Clearly they are hopeful that Patterson/Scruggs will be able to handle the interior but until I see it, I don't see much changing.
Hell to the no, not this squad…Lions don’t have to be a superteam, but they have a much better team than the Texans and most important, they are a far better coached prepared team…
I repeat, we need to be looking to the coaches, who, in fact, have become very defensive in their interviews. We don't need platitudes, we need adjustments, better schemes. The Texans have not had a "clean" game all season. They have notoriously bad second halves. Their protection schemes are inflexible and uncreative. Yes, they are missing key players, but the team is getting outcoached. If they run out the "same ole, same ole" against the Lions, they are going to be embarrassed much worse than the Jets game and brace for boos from the home crowd.
