You’re right breh. It’s 312. I mistakenly added WI where it’s already been counted. Add AK to the other outstanding swing states of NV, AZ, MI and you have 312 for Trump.

The wealthy control the media and algorithms that control what the average American sees and reads. So a presidential campaign hypothetically losing because they blamed venture capitalists instead of Juan the illegal immigrant helping make the frozen pack of jalapeno poppers you buy 5 dollars instead of 10 dollars lost not because that framing isn't correct but rather the executive and venture capitalist class have a successfully fine tuned their media apparatuses.

    ^^^^^^^^^ DING DING DING

America loves a comeback story, but do you know what else they love? A scapegoat.

Trump is basically a big ass target for every single problem now. A unified government for a lame duck Prez? He's gonna have to wear every single zit and wart from here on out, and I expect there will be dark times ahead economically.

There are many neocons sharpening their daggers as we speak while bowing to the orange god.

Ah, yes, the media, historically conservative and particularly pro-Trump.

    Talk about delusional.

Right - but they didn't even blame the venture capitalists, and that is part of the messaging problem and lack of real focus.

Yeah this is a problem but I think there needs to be more unification on messaging.

"Were you better off when Trump was president?" was a phrase I heard from every GOP representative for the past few months.

When Kamala won and was doing the 'They are weird!' stuff, that stuff was viral and popular...then they just stopped.

People are pretending she ran a good campaign, she didn't to me. She should have separated herself from Biden on some issues, like Palestine. She could have, she didn't and she sure as hell shouldn't be praising and running with neo-cons. The same people many democrats hate. She worked for a republican vote she was never going to get.

The media is historically market driven. It is capital driven. That means they have to make a case of how right wing and MAGA rhetoric is vile without the rhetoric demonizing venture capitalists as entirely the reason for these scapegoating issues like "the border crises". They have to push back on that rhetoric without fully embracing the entire argument that makes the argument far more palatable. This creates a situation where your average individual who is a consumer of these right wing hate algorithms believe that the empathy that some liberal media entities show towards migrants is a sign of them caring about said migrants more than American citizens. If these corporate media apparatuses could go hard on the capital owners and center their defense of migrants around the concept of venture capitalists using hate of migrants, trans people etc as scapegoats to deflect blame from the problems said venture capitalists have created to create a solidarity with white blue collar laborers then those people might be less reactionary and less receptive to the hate rhetoric spammed to them on their feeds

This video I linked expresses the mistakes liberal media made during Weimar Germany and the rise of fascism and their failure to fight against it that touches on what I said here.

The biggest media networks are conservative. The biggest social media networks are now conservative.

Your side is in power and is the machine. They have the judiciary, the congress, and executive. You can't pretend to be the little guy anymore rebelling against the Democrats for these next 4 years.

I think it's time to own up to the fact that the conservative media apparatus has as much if not more pull than its liberal counterpart(s).

You can't b**** about "the media" anymore. Conservatives basically are the media now. You aren't punk rock anymore, bro.

Fox maybe the biggest media network but that's in large part because it's the only conservative legacy media that is conservative. It doesn't split its audience amongst several other outlets. MSNBC, CNN, NBC, ABC, PBS... the vast majority of outlets are full of leftists employees and have a heavy left wing bias. They choose what to highlight, when to highlight it, how to frame stories etc etc with a left wing bias. They have for decades.

There is a reason that the Republicans want to cut the DOE - because a stupid and uneducated public is easier to control.

Record Profits are not inflation it is price gouging, the problem wasn't the MESSAGE that it was there, it was.....WHAT THEY WOULD BE DOING ABOUT IT and how that would help the average Joe.

That is all anyone cares about really, how are you going to help ME.....Trump doesn't help anyone but he disrupts and they are angry, and ignorantly blame Biden even though our economy is booming, Joe didn't clamp down on gouging......and buy backs, because he needs the billionaire donors too, so he is part of the problem.

We need a candidate that will take on the REAL Problems, getting money from lobbying OUT of congress, and not allowing insider trading and stopping the uber rich from rigging elections in their favor - and screwing over the little people.

You tell the TRUTH of what is happening, then you say....THIS is what we are gonna do, and this is how it helps you!

You should know liberals hate CNN, NBC, ABC too.

CNN for example always splits its panels with democrats and republicans.

Either way, the democrats lost, bigly. So what good is this supposed advantage? Like I said, the GOP is the machine now, they are the authority now. As @DonnyMost said, can't pretend to be punk rock anymore. Your side has all the power.

Well that is the number 1 News network - the biggest there is, and it is full of right wing propaganda.

We need fairness in News brought back and we need to regulate social media and make them responsible for what is posted on their platforms......same way that we need rules about commercials and them being truthful, or massive fines.

People aren't equipped today to tell what is real and what is Russian propaganda, or Fox propaganda.....

The government's JOB is literally to protect society from stuff like this and is not doing it well.
