I'd say go see it. Just go expecting a StarWars Movie complete with bad acting, cheesy one liners and lots of great action and special effects. While there have been moments of "Aww that sucked", I've never been disappointed with any of the franchise. I rewatched the ATC on DVD this weekend and the wife watched it for the first time and now she wants to see TPM which she's never seen. I think they are all true to the franchise and I look forward to the next installment being much the same.
I disagree a little... while the dialogue was not Shakespeare...it did its job a lot better than the new ones... At least the original movies were quotable...and you didn't feel like the actors were reading off cue cards and hating every minute on screen, like they do in the new ones. I love you.... ...I know. Genious
Star Wars and Empire were brilliant. Jedi could have been, but Lucas dropped the ball with the Ewoks and the abysmal ending. I wasn't a kid when I saw any of them, but I was a huge SF (and fantasy) fan and still am. I think Lucas has serious issues. How he could spend so much time, energy and money on the last two and produce such **** is beyond me. Arnold has charisma. Jackson is a certifiable genius. I never dreamed anyone could do such justice to Tolkien and LOTR. I've read the books many times. Ridley Scott ain't bad either.
i heard they're cancelling the rey skypalpatine movie. such bullschitte. i am disappoint. consequences gonna be the same.
Ha! Wow, what a weird time capsule. I was still almost in my 20's and was still kinda funny. I wonder if I could predict NFL games back then?
