He has a good elbow game waiting to be unlocked. He just down in the pecking order. A smart team with less depth would give him an offer hard for us to match at free agency time.

This team is giving me whiplash. We beat a WCF-defending Dallas team, lose to an undermanned, deep-in-decline Warriors team without Curry, then beat a really good Knicks team. Are we garbage or a fringe contender?

No real complaints about anything tonight.

Jalen was inefficient, but he almost always is, and he did really well at the very end.

Sengun had some stupid turnovers, but he scored efficiently, was a beast on the boards, got a ton of blocks and assists.

Jabari.....well, he hit a 3 at one point.

Sheppard was allowed to play, and did a decent job, but there were a lot of close misses on shots. I think he'll turn that around soon if he's given a chance.

    Amen and Tari looked good.

    Give me more of this.

He fouls so much, and stupidly, very annoying. I think he's a decent player, a pretty good defender. He's a good enough shooter when open, and he's weirdly decent in the post against small guys. He's also probably the worst starting wing ball handler and passer that I've seen. More importantly, he's taking 34 mpg from Amen/Tari/Cam

i bet they gonna have a letdown next game as usual... win 1 lose 1 pattern. No consistency.

I'm still not sure what he can be.......I'm not sure that this offense is a great fit for him. TBH...our offense is boring at times. We are largely a 3 pt. shooting team and inside to Sengun. I think we flourish most when we are playing fast. Our athleticism doing that is excellent.

No no, really - you made everything better. Seriously, because of your solid "fewer" reply this entire game post is better.

You should be so proud on your understanding of the English language, and your judgment stands a triumph.

Please continue, because what is language but the specifics of your critical approval?

People could not have understood what was conveyed in my post, we all needed your language improvements to better our situations, and I am the better for it.

I applaud you and all of your efforts.

I dunno if his conservative style rubs off on the whole team but seems like a lot of guys are hesitant to make the extra pass or look off the easiest wide open pass opting to hold the ball. Sengun, Tari, Bari all are hesitant in making that pass to an open wing or corner a lot of times. Frustrating to watch the ball stick to one player with only one pass where it could’ve been 2-3 passes to make the defense scramble. Part of why we still go thru droughts

Sounds kinda dumb but his current 3 is so much nicer than last year. Last year was like barely getting over the rim and like half of them were air balls. Now he’s at least missing competently?

he’s also hitting these paint touches and free throws. It may be a few years, it may only be a 33%\ low volume shot… but I believe he’ll get there. And I’m enjoying every minute until he does too. This kid is special.

I absolutely agree with you. “Steady Freddy” in his championship run was a wonderful role-player who’d come off the bench and take care of the ball, hit timely shots, and play bulldog defense. However, if we take that ultra-effective version of him and just scale up the minutes, it doesn’t work the same way. His physical attributes haven’t changed. His mental attributes haven’t changed. He’s just not that good as a starter (or at least not when he’s the focal point of the offense for whatever reason)
