It's almost like Elon and the Russians want to see violence in the streets of our country. Gee whiz. You could almost believe Elon was born in a racist, white-dominated apartheid country and is an immigrant who doesn't understand or value the great melting pot of American society and our democracy.

Oh wait a minute. I looked up where he was born. Sheeeeeiiiit.

If intelligence about his discussions with Putin shows evidence ultimately that he violated law, or that he is working as a foreign agent then I don’t know if people realize how big of a deal that would be. Including Elon obviously who has been acting so brazen the past 8 months.

I believe that if there’s evidence the US DOJ could force him to sell Tesla, Space X, and even Twitter. I doubt a Harris admin would want that to happen and would rather try to reform him instead of nudging him to flee to Russia with half a trillion dollars, but they might not have a choice.

We’ll see what happens tomorrow. If Trump wins, Elon gets to essentially run the most powerful country in the world after Trump gets bored and just tweets from the sh$tter the rest of his days at Mar A Lago. If Kamala wins he’s likely looking at potentially having to flee the United States.

That’s pretty dangerous and precarious for the United States and our national security with the richest man alive who is in charge of our space program, and satellite communication infrastructure. No one person again should ever have this much power and influence outside of the government ever again.

This is what happens when a team thinks they are above the rules.

So when people follow the rules that means they think they are above the rules?

I hardly imagine that a campaign would feel "forced" to air a free ad during two highly rated tv programs lol. Come on man. Your feelings always seemed geared at the wrong thing. I can only imagine you hardly care about this, and honestly it was beneficial to both candidates. I imagine that the Trump campaign would have thrown a tantrum otherwise.

There is info coming out that late deciding voters are breaking to Harris. Some analyst are looking at this like a reverse 2016 where late deciders broke towards Trump.

Please point to what really energized the base late.

I think I am misunderstanding you. Which campaign felt forced to run a free ad? ABC was forced to run a free ad (unless you are finally admitting ABC is an extension of the DNC)

Yes, the Trump campaign protested the SNL skit. This was the outcome.

All of those economist were saying how great the Biden economy would be and here we are.

The worst economy per middle class we have seen since the 1980's.

Income to debt ratio at an all time high.

    This **** is politically motivated.

Let me not trust reality and just believe this blindly.

No matter what happens tomorrow the post election period might be even more turbulent.
    https://www.nytimes.com/2024/11/04/technology/telegram-right-wing-groups-election.html
On Telegram, a Violent Preview of What May Unfold on Election Day and After
Right-wing groups, which use Telegram to organize real-world actions, are urging followers to watch the polls and stand up for their rights, in a harbinger of potential chaos.

Groups backing former President Donald J. Trump recently sent messages to organize poll watchers to be ready to dispute votes in Democratic areas. Some posted images of armed men standing up for their rights to recruit for their cause. Others spread conspiracy theories that anything less than a Trump victory on Tuesday would be a miscarriage of justice worthy of revolt.

“The day is fast approaching when fence sitting will no longer be possible,” read one post from an Ohio chapter of the Proud Boys, the far-right organization that was instrumental in the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. “You will either stand with the resistance or take a knee and willingly accept the yoke of tyranny and oppression.”

A New York Times analysis of more than one million messages across nearly 50 Telegram channels with over 500,000 members found a sprawling and interconnected movement intended to question the credibility of the presidential election, interfere with the voting process and potentially dispute the outcome. Nearly every channel reviewed by The Times was created after the 2020 election, highlighting the growth and increased sophistication of the election denialism movement.

The Times reviewed messages from “election integrity” groups across a dozen states, including battlegrounds like Pennsylvania, Georgia, Wisconsin, North Carolina and Michigan. Their posts overwhelmingly spewed disinformation and conspiracy theories and featured violent imagery.

More than 4,000 of their posts went further by encouraging members to act by attending local election meetings, joining protest rallies and making financial donations, the analysis found. Posts from other right-wing groups reviewed by The Times urged followers to be prepared for violence. These calls to action extended the right-wing language typically found on other major social media sites into the physical world.

There will be economic hardship regardless who is elected. Debt to GDP is running ~120%. We must tax revenues, cut government spending and increase economic growth. One party wants to increase tax revenues and increase gov spending, the other wants to do the opposite.

However it really doesn't matter which fantasy world someone wants to live in. Congress controls the ship. The president isn't a dictator.

    None.
    The same as Trump.
you pay for the ads; they can be very lopsided depending on who has the cash.
not the in-person stuff that's where the equal time stuff falls into place.

Such a terrible economy with under 4% unemployment, Dow over 40,000, and inflation under 3%. The last month I paid for gas less than I had in 2019.

but yes the debt is still high. Nothing Trump is proposing will reduce it or inflation. He’s talking about cutting taxes but will increase spending on things like deportations. In his last administration there were no significant cuts in spending and the deficit ballooned.

Also please explain how adding 20% to all imported goods will reduce prices.

Even Elon Musk knows Trump’s policies are bad for the economy.
