Yeah, it's a decent beer. And I didn't feel like diving into some good craft beers this evening. A ton of breweries up here in Wisconsin. Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee is one that get a lot of beer from. I know the 2 cats well that started it in 1987.

A few Heinekens on a Sunday during a game is better than these fools who drink crap like Bud Lite or Miller Lite. Absolute sewer water.

K, moving on....The Packers just lost. You think I am in the mood for trolling from Texans fans?
    Lmmfao.

    Have a good night.

Have bled Green and Gold since birth. But I think I mentioned once here that I liked the Oilers a little as a kid. But yeah.

I got to hang out with Russ and Jim Klisch a loooong time ago when they had that tiny brewery in that street front brick building. I just dropped in and they were super nice. Even though it was brew day, they gave me a glass and pointed me to the taps. They delivered beer on a hand truck only to local bars back then. They were fermenting in shallow milk coolers they bought for cheap. I was impressed with their ability to adapt. All their beer was strong back then. I mean 7% and up. I used to brew for The Galveston Brewery on Mechanic and 25th. We used repurposed dairy equipment too. Brew day was always rough.

I really like Euro Pilsner style beers, especially German and Bohemian lagers. I have yet to find an American micro that can do them justice. It takes too long to produce excellent light lager, so small breweries take shortcuts (pseudo-lagers fermented with ale or kveik yeast). Or worse, they get the hop profile all wrong. There are a couple of good seasonal micro-brewed lagers though. Karbach-toberfest and Saint Arnold's Summer Pils come to mind. Both are brewed with the same ingredients and methods as used in Germany. I know at one time, Karback's brewmaster was formally trained in Germany. Too bad they sold out to the Great Satan, InBev. It's incredibly hard to brew great lagers, and the Germans do it better than anyone. Any mistake will be apparent in the final product.

I guess so. It was late 80's or early 90's for sure. I was there for exactly one day. It was an old building, right up next to the sidewalk in an old residential area. Very small for a brewery. I think Jeff was still a police if memory serves. He was a "part time brewer" if there is such a thing in the brewery business. Russ did most of the work that day.

Back on topic (sort of). Did anyone see the Lions fans with cheese grater hats? I never saw those before. I laughed out loud. Good stuff.

Losing Christian Darrisaw was a HUGE blow. Darnold is a lot like Goff, struggles when he's pressured.

Funny thing is if Fairbarin had made those FG's like he usually does it would've been a whole different game that the Texans would've had a chance to win at the end, even with the team being undermanned.
