Who’s crying? I don’t think those screaming about FVV or idiots like you waiting for Green to fail are correct. Green will continue to get better, and FVV will improve.

So you're fine with the terrible coaching costing the team wins due to blind faith in players performing poorly?

Yup, you're definitely a Jalen cultist.

It's always player over team to people like you

I think you lack the emotional stability for an 82 game season. Ime literally made adjustments that helped us come back from 30 points down. Sucks that it didn’t work out this game, but we’ll be fine.

Why do you bench players the entire 4th quarter? It is a statement about their attitude and not their game. Neither Jalen nor Sengun deserved it.

Jalen had a bad game. You can reduce his minutes but give him a chance to recover. You can’t sit player the first time they have an off night. Sengun on the other hand was the first player to fight back and led the team to believe a comeback was possible. His sitting doesn’t make any sense at all.

İme is like a parent having the bench stick in his hand as a punishment. He overuses it and when Sengun sulked, he had to double down on his mistake to keep him on the bench in overtime.

We wen’t from no accountability to unreasonable punishment. And the punishment doesn’t apply to fvv, which is even a worse look. With his limited offensive coaching, ime needs a vet guard on the floor but fvv is not that guy. Can’t attack the rim, not an exceptional shooter or scorer, can’t create much for himself. Still ime had to hold on to him because it is all hustle ball without him, frankly it did look much better than Fred offered without Sengun.

Like Silas, Ime wants to play with a rim running/shot blocking big man

Should've thought of that before handing Sengun $160 million, Stone.

He stuck with what was failing to they were down 30, then allowed the better players to play for a short time to come back and force OT, then went with the players who got us down 30 in OT to lose the game.

He's been absolutely terrible when it comes to lineups and rotations all season, but last night was the worst.

funny how the coaches are reluctant to admit the defensive mistakes on the perimeter, which is obviously a coaching problem.

He is very disingenuous when he is asked whether alpi played better in the 3rd. He can’t say yes because that would contradict with benching him. I expected more from İme.

The coaching adjustments allowed us to comeback and it was a close OT loss instead of a 31 point blowout, Ime is an excellent coach and this squad was terrible the year before him.

Fred needs to play better though I agree, I don't know if Holiday or Reed can handle the duties conistently but if Fred is hurt or something is wrong a change up is needed if he's not playing well.

Fred is awful, I just have really high expectations for Sengun. But like I said, he will figure it out

Ime is doing that to the person who is no. 1 or near the top in the entire league in rebounds, box outs, screen assists.

So I don't see how it could be for selfish play.

I also didn't see a lack of effort on defense.

Yes, he has been missing shots he normally makes, but if this is the standard, then why does it not apply to Fred?

I bet Alpi is wondering what he could possibly do differently to not be treated like this.

I don't see Sengun the way you do but I think he's very good and someone who will be an allstar, and he just got a huge contract. Benching him is completely asinine. You paid him and Jalen, if they're having a bad game you let them try to work themselves out of it. If the effort isn't there, fine bench them but it's gotten beyond absurd.

This team can’t play slow in win. Especially not against the Warriors.

I agree with the criticism around not benching Fred. At this moment in time, we are a much better team without him in the floor, move faster and defend better. Bodies are in motion and it makes things happen.

I don’t agree with the hate around sengun’s benching. All of the above still apply. I really like lineups with Bari, Tari, Amen and the speed and energy those guys bring.

Right now, Sengun is playing slow in all facets. Running the offense through him slows things down and typically results in shots occurring late in the shot clock. He’s getting picked on when on the defensive end.

Jalen functionally got benched last night too. He deserved it. His game was atrocious.

    the positive takeaways are

Tari is back and he is a disruptor. His three looks improved and his energy is insane

Bari is settling in and the defense looks awesome. He may never be a star but he’s a damn fine player to have in your team. He seems to thrive as a small 5.

Amen is a beast. Relentless. And the perfect running partner with Tari.

holiday needs more minutes. He’s a better defender and initiator of offense at this point than Fred. Maybe reducing Fred’s minutes might change that????

If the team has to play fast to win, and Udoka likes to play fast, but Sengun can't play fast, how do you feel about Senguns contract? How do you feel about his fit on this team? Was it a mistake to pay him $185 million? Do you think he should be traded for a player who excels defensively and can play fast?

It's not a mistake no matter what because he will have positive value and is good matching salary

If this is the approach then you absolutely can’t judge the coaching staff with regard to wins and losses. If we’re gonna just let these guys play however long in regular season games like it’s a scrimmage, regardless of how they’re playing, then the only ones you can blame wins and losses on are those guys.

Thankfully (imo) the Rockets aren’t subscribing to that strategy.

you carry a team to many many wins, be the center of success for a whole season. be humiliated several times but keep your composure and respect. while many others are just fornicating (lol). and after a few bad games after injury, this idiot Ime and idiots who are waiting for his failure throws him under the bus after a few games. dave being the flag carrier as usual. classic. internet is full of international betting scandals, we'll see in the future what is behind this hatred or irony.
