Sengun has been bad this year. Stats are deceiving, it’s unacceptable. He’s way too good to be playing like this, period. He’s gonna figure it out though

Sengun has looked far more clumsy and oafish this season than I ever remember him being. I wonder if the way he added on muscle was counter-productive? Maybe focus more on agility and quickness than adding weight. I don't know. It's early; we'll see.

In any case, I don't put this loss on him. The team went down by 30+ because they all played lazily and stupidly in the first half. Sengun didn't even play at the end because Ime was more relying on the players who got us back in the game.

Sengun is the only reason why we lose the games. FVV is a god given gift(GGG) to us. Jalen was missing some shots but it's very rare for him to do that. I want to see Jalen shooting 30+ shots then make us win like last night.

Doesn't Wemby realize that Ime loves his rim-protecting supermen as centers? If Wemby were here, he’d be putting up averages of 35-20-20, all thanks to Ime's unique offensive game plan.

HUSTLE HUSTLE HUSTLE, YES, MORE, HUSTLE, DEFENSE, I LOVE FVV, GIVE ME MY JALEN.

While it's true that FVV was really bad last night, Jalen was worse....but it seems he's not catching ANY of the blame from anyone. Jalen was 2-13 for 7 points and a team worst -20 when on the court.

Both Sengun and FVV (barely) played better, but we're not even hearing his name today. Weird, right?

These false narratives are lame. They've both been bad.

Someone made a tweet saying "this is Jalen Green's team" when he did well against the Mavs.

When we lose and Jalen goes 2-13 with 1 rebound in 34 minutes, is it then also Jalen Green's team?

Then we don't see that sentence. Then it's about "Alperen Sengun's struggles".

Interesting to hear that he made a remark on offensive execution. It seems he's aware of the rest of 50% of the game.

We've been inconsistent because our offensive philosophy is s for some player to take over. If we didn't have Jalen's heroics, we could've been 1-5 or 0-6 by now.

Almost every decision he makes is based on defense. Sleeps on offense. Applies 17th century management practices on 21st century.

Take accountability for your shortcomings, Ime. Don't take everything out on Jalen and Sengun. I don't wanna watch Aaron Holiday. Make it work.

I’ll watch whoever is effective on any given night. Holiday played circles around the guys he took minutes from last night.

Sengun has been playing below the standard he set for himself, but his rebounding, ft shooting, and 3 pt shooting have all improved. People, myself included, preached patience with Jalen and other young players for the last 3 years. After 5 games, all the haters are out and calling for Alpi’s head.

As always, he will bear down and become better than last year. It has been his MO. Ime has been the hypocrite by preaching fast pace and movement and still playing FVV and Brooks monster minutes. Hopefully last night and the well deserved criticism he is receiving, will get his attention sooner than it did last year and he will adjust the minutes to get his best players in position to succeed. If FVV won’t change his pace, he is the one that needs to benched. The sooner that Amen and Tari are getting 30+ mins a game, the sooner we will become a playoff contender.

Amen, Jalen, Tari, Sengun, and Jabari won’t always be effective, but they will not become a cohesive unit until they get through the growing pains. Stone/Ime need to rip the band-aid off and get on with it, even if it costs us a few games here and there. As evidenced by last night, it will probably win us more than it loses while they adjust.

No, it's not weird. When a player is consistently killing it and single-handedly winning games, people tend to be more forgiving about the occasional off-night. When a player, however, has been pretty bad for a while, people have less patience.

    Really not the complicated.

I don’t have any issues with what coach had to say. He said it was a team thing more than just one player. Ime knows what Sengun is capable of and how important he is to the success of the team.

Jalen was the worst player on the court... funny though this guy seems to think he should have played even more than he did despite not earning it.... and he wants to talk about meritocracy.

Jalen has been bad for 3 years, a few good games doesn't change that.

When he goes back to being his normal awful self, he doesn't deserve the blind faith you think he does.... any more than FVV does.

You can't cry about blind faith in FVV then advocate for blind faith in Jalen who played worse and all but single handedly lost the game in OT.
